So? He’s recruited his share of duds (ie the entire ‘21 Corner class & Bellamy). Mitchell has a Bama offer.
There might be a couple position coaches on staff deserving of some criticism with their eval and development. Mickens is just not one of them. He is probably a top 3 CB coach in college football right now in terms of the entirety of the job.

They took a commitment from Sedrick Irvin Jr and moved on. Do the same with Hobbs.

sooooooo……

Did Beasley decommit?

Is this a clue he is going to decommit & open his recruitment back up?

With unlimited OVs, one of the pods mentioned that the policy has changed. ND commits still can’t OV, but recruits committed elsewhere can to ND

He showed up to an On3 event in Nashville an hour ago wearing Tennessee gear.

The event is about NIL & how to market yourself, & while at the event he lets it be known he is visiting ND….

Good marketing ploy, young man.

I also believe that ND wasn’t going to allow prospects committed elsewhere to take an OV to ND during the summer but would allow them to OV during the season. That probably explains Beasley’s visit weekend.

Driskell just said ND’s policy hasn’t changed with OV’s.
The visit will have to be an unofficial if he is still committed to Tennessee.

I would say we just interpret an OV as a non committed player either coming for or going out.

Hypocrite much?
Not really.

You some form of control over your program's commitments.

You don't have control over the commitments of other programs.

It's up to Tennessee to do the same as ND did with Owen Wafle. Wafle wanted to take an OV, they decided to say, hey, you can do that, but you need to de-commit and open your recruitment back up.

Yeah we’ll see if that holds up. I’m sure he got pressured into it the entire time he was there.

This had a slim chance of happening anyway. We needed all the stars to line up for this to happen.
