Just remember. It could have been AI dropping dimes to Randy Moss for Our Lady in the 90s.

Sorry if it sounded like I was implying that. Was just trying to expand on your previous point.I never said he wasn’t justified, I just stated what happened.
Also a fight that changed his trajectory. He wanted to play football. Worked out for him thoughJust remember. It could have been AI dropping dimes to Randy Moss for Our Lady in the 90s.

100 percent agree. We are always getting used to help a recruit get a better offer.I'd like to get excited, but with 13 months to go...in this new climate....I feel these early commitments are nothing more than "ND is my favorite flavor today"
If I remember correctly, Randy Moss beat up a kid in high school. His scholarship was pulled.Randy Moss
That's probably like three touchdowns a game. Which is insane. Who is he playing against in Hannibal, Missouri? It's the middle of nowhere.108 TDs in 3 seasons… let that sink in
Yeah, he’s dominating bad competition, but that’s what an elite recruit should do.That's probably like three touchdowns a game. Which is insane. Who is he playing against in Hannibal, Missouri? It's the middle of nowhere.
It's either that or move to St. Louis or go to IMG - which are probably not realistic options.Yeah, he’s dominating bad competition, but that’s what an elite recruit should do.
I wouldn’t say he has to do it. He’s already proven himself. It might even be better for him to continue to play out of the public eye. It's either that or move to St. Louis or go to IMG.
That may be, but there just aren't a lot people who live in places like Moberly and Jefferson City, Hannibal's conference opponents. Hard to imagine they have very many good high school football players. Whereas Elliott, even if his school was smaller, played a lot of St. Louis-area private schools that can recruit local talent, which as we know is abundant. He plays in a higher class than Zeke did .

Regardless, I'm all for these kids having normal high school lives and not shipping off to sports boarding schools in Florida just to goose their recruiting rankings. And he gets to score a shitload of touchdowns. Good for him. Hope he sticks with us.
I never expected to see Moberly on an ND message board. Its 30 min away from me. Jeff City and Columbia have good athletics, But Hannibal is an island its the biggest city in maybe an hour in every direction and everything around it is really small even crossing into Illinois. That may be, but there just aren't a lot people who live in places like Moberly and Jefferson City, Hannibal's conference opponents. Hannibal plays st Louis area schools. Hannibal sent a 3 year starter to Stanford and a starter to bowling green in the last few years. Hannibal plays monte balls high school. And a class above Ezekiel ElliottYeah, he’s dominating bad competition, but that’s what an elite recruit should do.
Hmmm. We must be neighbors.I never expected to see Moberly on an ND message board. Its 30 min away from me. Also Quincy. 15 miles from hannibal has d1 starting running back right now. Good friend of mine was his assistant high school coachHmmm. We must be neighbors.
I have pastored in Fayette MO for the last 10 yearsHmmm. We must be neighbors.
Never thought I'd see that name pop up. Went to college there and one of my teammates is the Strength & Conditioning coach currently at hannibal highI have pastored in Fayette MO for the last 10 years
Hannibal Lagrange? I have a ton friends that went thereNever thought I'd see that name pop up. Went to college there and one of my teammates is the Strength & Conditioning coach currently at hannibal high
Apparently he's at western Illinois now, I haven't kept in close contact since we stopped playingHannibal Lagrange? I have a ton friends that went there
That’s not fully true either.Let’s clarify this a little more. He got in a fight because he was being called a N-word by the guy who’s ass he beat. Moss dealt with mad racism at his high school and finally couldn’t ignore it anymore. Moss was all Irish and would have been here if not for that incident.
Use him like Percy Harvin.
Well,… definitely not with that attitude,…..He doesn’t have the same explosiveness as Harvin. He brings a lot but he’s not turning a quick slant into an 80 yard touchdown while blazing past defenders in the middle of the field.
