Wonder if he knows something… so huge for keeping class together.. figure he can keep offense together and freeman keep the D together regardless of golden leaving or not

Kind of off topic but I have heard in podcasts friction between Rees and Freeman especially after Freeman was named head coach… have u heard any details regarding them two?

They had friction before he was head coach, and yes I’ve heard of issues inside the Gug this past year… not just with Freeman. But it’s important to remember that almost all staffs have some amount of drama, conflict, etc.

Had the weirdest vibes last year when Tommy did that podcast with his buddy and he was way too open and casual for someone who claimed to respect the new chain of command.

Big “What’s he gonna do? He doesn’t have the authority to do shit” energy from Tommy right out of the gate.

Makes a ton of sense. Tommy interviewed for the ND HC job too.

There was a notable line in one of Pete Sampson’s stories when Rees was taking the Bama job about how Tommy thought he should have gotten more consideration for our HC job last year than he did.

Yep. Makes PERFECT sense why he'd leave. Not getting the ND HC job anytime soon, get to learn from Saban.

In the current realm of skill recruiting, where participation in elite 7-on-7 for the highest-rated QB’s, WR’s and DB’s is almost as important as the on-field product from during the season…

Has ND had a recruit that willingly attacked the camp circuit, as both a player and recruiter, as CJ Carr?

ND commits at the premier positions usually slooooooowly slide down the rankings with each update that gets closer to the signing period, and the reasoning is usually “didn’t see him enough in camp settings against elite competition. His film shows blue-chip potential, but we don’t know his ceiling because of the lack of reps against elite prospects.”

They won’t have that excuse for Carr!
