Early/quick commits are often a long dogfight. See Bowen, Keeley, etc. It's not the kid's fault.

Agreed. Didn’t make the last big visit weekend. Cancelled visits without a common sense conflict/reason are always suspicious.

Its always a red flag when a commitment comes out of nowhere, especially early in the cycle.

But with this staff, who knows. Maybe they are able to fight to keep him. I also wouldn't be surprised to see them fight to keep him, but also recruit as if he isn't going to be in the class.
