Tae is one of the easiest kids to root for in this class. He had work to do to get into ND and he accepted the challenge, did it and signed after getting the greenlight. I hope that is a sign of his work ethic on and off the field at ND. Super high ceiling for him, even if takes a year to put on the 'coat of armor'.

100% agree. Alot of kids would of gave up and looked elsewhere but he put in the work to get it. One of my favorite recruits this year not only because he's local, but he did what he had to do to in the classroom in order to become a part of this class. Hopefully he can come in and make some noise

For all the reasons mentioned, I too am rooting so hard for this local kid.

Most importantly, I want this success story to "happen". I want the disadvantaged kid to breakthrough and change his life/others for the better. I do not want another "Noah Boykin 2.0". I really believe that Tae is going to be a tremendous student athlete and is going to be a better man from this chance.

Well put. I also believe that Marcus Freeman is committed to making men of his recruits. This is easily said, but always a challenge. Nonetheless, I applaud the focus.

It'll be interesting where they slot Johnson when he enrolls this summer. Many thought it'd be safety but he's coming in behind the curve having not played the position much in hs. Plus, Goldens scheme puts a lot on their safeties..

With what we've heard about his athleticism, does it make more sense to start him at cb, with an eye on the depth chart there? Now that Mickens is in charge of the entire secondary, I could envision these changes a bit easier.

Have you seen the way he moves on the field? He's young and doesn't have any position specific nuance, but the athleticism pops.
