His HS game got moved from Friday to Saturday due to impending thunderstorms. He didn’t have a choice. No longer visiting this weekend
Luke Jones 2018He just led his team to their fifth straight state title in 7A classification which is the highest in AR. Selfishly, I almost wish he didn’t commit yet b/c committing this early seems like an inevitable flip. If he did, in fact, enroll at ND and see the field for live action in a game, he’d be the first Arkansan do so as a scholarship athlete IIRC. A few have been on the team but were either walk-ONS or injured or transferred.
He’s not that highly ranked at the moment, but I believe that that is going to change. Wouldn’t surprise me if he jumps into the Top 200 or 150 before his senior season.
Are you “Olson”? History guy on NDN. Great stuffBest ever Notre Dame football player from Arkansas was

Note: ND recruited 2 Subiaco Acad (Ark) players in 1941...but the other- Bucky O'Connor was from Tulsa (HS QB-Guard at ND)
Got any idea what kind of student he is? Probably the only way we land a kid like this is if he’s a high end student. If he’s the typical guy who just wants to go to college to play football he’ll pick the state school 9 times out of tenHe just led his team to their fifth straight state title in 7A classification which is the highest in AR. Yup - can't wait to relive the Keeley recruitment againGlad we are on early on this one. Kid will blow up and be a bad ass.
Yes, we've read this book before. ND in early on a guy, he shoots up the rankings, Bama swoops in and signs him in the end. He’s not that highly ranked at the moment, but I believe that that is going to change. Wouldn’t surprise me if he jumps into the Top 200 or 150 before his senior season.
Right but he never played a down. He redshirted and then transferred IIRC. He’s now starting LT at Arkansas.Luke Jones 2018
From what very little I’ve heard is he’s the latter. I was shocked when I saw Singer put in a crystal ball for him.Got any idea what kind of student he is? My money is on him opting for an SEC school. That sound you hear?
The Hopes and Expectations Thermostat being cranked all the way up.
But a guy said a thing that he's coming to ND.My money is on him opting for an SEC school.
IMO, he's a prime candidate to commit to ND and then he'll blow up over the summer and commit to a school that offers him NIL money (Bama, UGA, etc.).We don't offer many kids from Arkansas and rarely fare well with kids from Arkansas. Given he's a '24 kid makes it even more unlikely for him to be putting on the gold helmet.
