Oregon trolling competitors now
He can troll as much as he wants, but if he doesn't win, be prepared to take what you dish out Mr Lanning.
Oregon trolling competitors now
If he continues to be successful on and off the field, I'd put him near the of the list for the Alabama job when it opens. If Lanning continues to recruit at this level, and win enough games there is no way he is at Oregon come 2024-2025
He has no natural connection to Oregon or the Pacific Northwest, and his head will be turned by an SEC or Big Ten program that comes calling, where it will be much easier for him to recruit an sustain national success other then a dwindling Pac 12 Conference. This is an obvious stepping stone job for him, and so far he is killing his audition.
Of course, all 18 year old kids care about is probably the $$$, but these Oregon kids are going to find out quickly that their coach is not long for Eugene...of course the get out of jail free transfer ability makes that less of a problem for them.
It's not that black/white.Either get in or become fucking Harvard
Boo it all you want but it is what it isHopefully ND BOT and lack of f.u.n.d s wakes up. That's 3 Five stars that we NIL'd on!!!! Don't want to hear excuses about how "IF there wasn't NIL". Guess what ther is. Either get in or become fucking Harvard
I have no problem with taking the money.
Why be classless?
It’s a really bad look.
Dabo will get first refusal on that in my opinion, but if Lanning wins a Pac 12 title over the next two years and possible CFP appearance then he will obviously be on the short list if he continues to stack recruiting classes comparable if not even better then legendary recruiter Mario was able to produce in Eugene. If he continues to be successful on and off the field, I'd put him near the of the list for the Alabama job when it opens.

Yeah, Dabo is the obvious #1. But, I wouldn't be shocked if he stays at Clemson. He's got his fiefdom there and doesn't have to worry about being in anyone's shadow.Dabo will get first refusal on that in my opinion, but if Lanning wins a Pac 12 title over the next two years and possible CFP appearance then he will obviously be on the short list if he continues to stack recruiting classes comparable if not even better then legendary recruiter Mario was able to produce in Eugene.
Bama boosters don't like Dabo if you believe what you hear. TBH, nobody should want to follow Saban, let somebody come in there and make a balls of it and then you'd want to be the guy who takes over for him i thinkDabo will get first refusal on that in my opinion, but if Lanning wins a Pac 12 title over the next two years and possible CFP appearance then he will obviously be on the short list if he continues to stack recruiting classes comparable if not even better then legendary recruiter Mario was able to produce in Eugene.

Agree about Dabo. He ran his mouth a few times too many and it's probably going to cost him later. If Saban retired next season, then all eyes would point toward Oxford. Isn't that the shi*?Bama boosters don't like Dabo if you believe what you hear. tbf Kiffin would be a great pick, he has a thick skin and flaming at Bama wouldn't hurt his job prospects for the future in the slightest. You can totally seem him meme-ing himself after "i tried to take it down from the inside guys" etc etcAgree about Dabo. He ran his mouth a few times too many and it's probably going to cost him later. If Saban retired next season, then all eyes would point toward Oxford. Isn't that the shi*?
Bowen was torn between 2 lovers, feeling like a fool, loving both of them was breaking all the Rules…These kids will never love ND as much as you or anyone at ND loves ND.
In a financial negotiation? No. In a financial negotiation, my honesty has a price.Be honest.
Hmm, interesting...seems crazy to me to not pick a proven national championship coach (with roots to Alabama even a blind man could see) over a coach who has not proven much of anything.Agree about Dabo. He ran his mouth a few times too many and it's probably going to cost him later. If Saban retired next season, then all eyes would point toward Oxford. Isn't that the shi*?
I don't think it's that obvious anymore. Alabama is going to want someone that buys into what is going on out there and will play ball. Dabo lost his top two lieutenants and replaced them by promoting from within, paying them six figure salaries. He made some joke today about building a recruiting class in "God's Name, Image and Likeness."Yeah, Dabo is the obvious #1. But, I wouldn't be shocked if he stays at Clemson. He's got his fiefdom there and doesn't have to worry about being in anyone's shadow.
Kiffin has the fan support in Alabama, I've read, to replace Saban. I can't say it totally surprises me.Agree about Dabo. He ran his mouth a few times too many and it's probably going to cost him later. If Saban retired next season, then all eyes would point toward Oxford. Isn't that the shi*?
Notre Dame can’t win in this environment. You can’t sincerely look at the teams playing the NIL game and then look at ND and think they have a real chance.Translation
Going to be a real tough time competing for the playoffs and beating those NIL Teams
I'm still 100% on recruiting. My (probably wrong) prediction: Bowen to ND
Bowen's going to pry open the guaranteed NIL door at ND, they're just not going to call it that.
and make us recall the Bowen/Hillman defense with great fondness.
