I see that Prister did an "in the film room" on him on 247. Isn't that some type of indication or something?

Take these three country-ass white boys and Samson Okunlola of Brockton, Massachusetts, put them with Harry Heistand and Matt Balis for a bit and pity the damn defenses we’ll face in three or four years.

forget about the guy from Massachusetts because Driskell and Ryan in recent podcast have said that he is pretty much gone. they said recently that he visited scUM and MSU but yet didn't drive a couple or so hrs away to ND and that was a clear sign for them that the interest isn't there

It's an overall positive update on Freeling, and Simmons even likes where ND is, but the below makes me think barring a major change of heart this weekend, Freeling will not be in the class:

“I am probably only going to take two official visits in the summer, then take the others in the fall. There is a chance I could commit before my senior year, but I am really taking my time.”

The paid sites have been pretty adamant that 6 OL won't happen. With that said, I think Freeling is a future first round type talent so are you really saying no to him? Seems unlikely. But, if it comes down to BPA. And, if we have the 5 OL we expect to have, and then we can add Bell, Gray, Beasley at CB. Plus Bowen, Shuler, and Downs at S. Plus Ausberry and M'Pemba want in. Are we turning away any of those BPA's for Freeling? No, I'm not. So, I do think Freeling could be a casualty of numbers but it seems unlikely.

I think IB said that best case scenario it'd be a class of 27-28 if they hit on a lot of their targets. They said that even with the 25-man cap eliminated, it'd be tough to get more than 27-28. However, with players like Ausberry, Downs, M'Pemba, Young, etc., you make room if they want to come.

Tanona is a big question mark but it’s looking like a medical.

Driskell just said that people he has talked to say that if Freeling is the last one to decide the staff would make an exception to the rule depending on what else happens.

Yep.
Driskell just said that he normally doesn’t like 6 OL in a class, but with circumstances in the class in front of them he is okay with it. Then talked about the 22 OL class & never even mentioned Tanona.

The main pay sites always seem to have the exact same group think and then the IB guys and Lucky Lefty have different enough that I am beginning to wonder if the less plugged in ones using more common sense aren’t getting to be more accurate in a way
