Price needs less negative runs. Seems like his runs are either a loss of 2 or a house call. Jekyll and Hyde runner.
In fairness he doesnt miss many reads or holes as much as he just by coincidence i feel like has some plays that are just bottled up from the start.

Agree. He’s big time and it’s frustrating to see him stopped near the line of scrimmage. That aTm TD run should be more his constant than consistently getting close to negative yards.

I'd agree on some. But he bounces pretty much every carry. Some of those just need to be gritty 3 hard runs rather than 2 yard losses running horizontally.

This feels like a pretty good assessment. Love seems to find the hole better or he's patient and lets it develop. Price likes to bounce it outside a lot, and occasionally it leads to a huge gain, but the other 7 times it goes for 0 or negative yards like A&M. Feast or famine.

I disagree. 25 is a big load and ND has a stable of backs to choose from besides him. I'm thinking 15 touches in the backfield along with using him as a slot receiver several times per game.

He’s the best weapon they have. I like getting the ball to our best player.

When he enters the transfer market for a bag…

Unfortunately you have to worry about this all the time anymore with your top players. But when you take the ball away from him and Price you aren’t helping yourself. I questioned the RB rotation last year too.

I think Williams will be a good back but there’s no reason for him or Ford to be in the game early when they were.

Oh and we wasted our NIL money that could go to Love on a QB that can’t throw the ball.

He’s a lot like Dexter Williams.
Disagree, he's better than Dexter because he's a more complete back. Dexter struggled with the little things like pass blocking which is why he saw limited action until late in his career. It's also what held him back at the next level. Love is honing all aspects of his game, not just in pass blocking, but his willingness to take snaps in the Slot and improve his versatility as a receiving threat. This kid is talented, he's a weapon we can't neglect. I think Love is a more patient runner too and has great vision to find the hole as we saw from the big A&M scamper.

As good as Price is Love needs to be our starter.

I want him to be the next Harvey from UCF. When I watched Love yesterday he was hard to bring down and is a shifty back just like Harvey.

#21 looked pretty damn good between the tackles in the 4th quarter. G’Bran Payne is also no slouch. Probably runs the hardest and lowest between the tackles.

Not worried about Love transferring honestly. He's the star this year and next year. He will get his money through NIL and then get the NFL money.

I was comparing Price to Dexter, not Love.

Obviously Leonard's inability to complete downfield passes is #1 on my list of why we should go with Angeli but Love is #2.

When you have a running back that is this talented, the need for a running QB moves down the list.

I think it's going to far more important that we have a QB that can make 3rd and 7 first downs with his arm than us getting to 200 yards rushing every week with a QB whos pitching in 50 or 60 of that.
