Faison/Love splitting reps at slot- damn good combo. Hopefully he will also still get touches at RB to utilize his versatility at that position.

Based on the initial impressions of the media, Jaydon Harrison may be afactor. If that comes to fruition, we could see some fun 10/20 personnel formations.

Saw Price getting love, no love for Love? Price had a great game, but Love showed some heart and was the better back tonight.

That was the first question I asked. Lol. He said that they weren’t out celebrating. Was just the time that they got back to campus which aligns.

Has anyone gone back and watched the opening drive(s)? Love was so over-amped for the game, he missed two potentially monster plays to start the game. I don't recall the exact play, if it was a slip screen or he just lined up outside but they threw a screen to him and he didn't take the inside lane, instead choosing to cut it out.

Then there was a handoff where the line had excellent blocks and he started to go outside to the right instead of hitting the wide open cutback that would've been at least 15 yds, maybe a house call if he got the corner. I don't have access to the all 22 to see if anyone was in position for TAMU to clean-up.

If he can just settle in mentally, his athleticism will be on full display in the coming games.

Yep, I distinctly remember yelling at the screen on the 1st series when he missed the inside cut.

I initially thought that too about that little swing pass but watched it back a few times and there was a defender felling the inside lane and another one that would have also been there before he came out the other side of the hole.

He definitely stutter stepped and missed an immediate cutback on the inside handoff though.

Yep it’s taken me a while to see it but now I am on board. I think he has pushed price to 2. I’ve got price as our best 2 in ever.
