Shaun said on LL podcast today that Love was ready to commit last week but said he wants his mom on campus first and then that he talked to Christian Gray who is close friends with Love and Gray told Shaun "he is still cool. Love knows the move he wants to make and he is coming home"

Fong with the CB and a story quoting the dad as "ND is #1, but A&M is on their heels". Fong has a 98% hit rate on 2023 kids, so you gotta feel good about this.
The "but" coming from the dad just makes me feel cringe.

If Love does come here I’d start either him or Edwards out or both at WR!! We will have a ton of RB’s on scholarship next year

Weird for Loy to say no one in the Gug thinks ND leads and then his Dad just says ND leads right after lol
It’s almost like you should believe the opposite of whatever the “sources in the Gug” think about something, regardless of who the head coach is at the time.

How TF can A&M guarantee upfront money so boldly without being spotlighted?
Who’s gonna stop them?

A&M spent a shit ton of money last year. It's likely they can't spend like that every single year. They might have to be a little more choosey with their $$ distributions this season so they can return to big spenders next year.

I don't see any reason, if NIL (non-)rules stay the same, that A&M oil multi-millionaires don't spend "nickles and dimes" ($50,000 and $100,000 per player) pocket change to raise up the football team. The only thing which might stop that is Fisher not converting that into getting into the playoffs. "It's likely that they can't"? A guy like that spends that kind of cash for "hobbies" all the time.

They spent 32 million on last year's class. That ain't 50/100k per that's 1,000,000/per.

Still nickel and dimes?

Yeh. For those kind of guys, yes.
Think a Jerry Jones with no admin responsibilities but all the rest of the perks.
I worked for three billionaires briefly in my life. A million bucks was nickles and dimes if they wanted something. There are several of these A&M guys with crazy cash.

Just so we're clear on what a nickel and dime is.

32m/year for full roster cycle (4years) is 128m

The lowest active salary cap in NFL is falcons at 150m.

Apparently these guys can nearly fund an NFL roster with no return on investment with their spare change.
128m is still paid out over 4 years. So you end right back at the 32 million a year if you’re trying to compare to an annual nfl salary cap

You don't know the details of those NIL deals were they 1m for their entire aTm career or for committing only?

Also, 32m is still 90-95% move than OMM's original valuation that he called nickels and dimes. That's some serious inflation in the matter of mere minutes

No I don’t. But it’s far likely that the 32 million represents a payment to cover the 4 years than the likelihood it represents an annual payment that last years class will receive each year.

The point is that your comparison of 128 million to an NFL salary cap is trash.

If they maintained that yearly cost for a full recruiting roster cycle what would it cost them?

In this article it call it "NIL deals" would seem like $30M over a 3/4 year span. Which would be much higher than the $3M that Bama players made in 2021. $10M a year is still ~3.3x what Bama players made.

Yep, I'm gonna go ahead and say he's ours! On3 is at 90% to ND now. This is probably the best RB commit we've had in what, over a decade?

IF we get him the. Best since two years ago Tyree

I’ve never seen a site use a competitor’s report before. Singer directly cited Wiltfong’s VIP report. Hilarious.
I was going to ask if there was any sort of fresh scoop, or just the direct quotes from 247?
