Obviously it is. I was joking, but more in the sense that we dont have to call them RKGs anymore. We are going after the best football players period…then determining if they are a fit or think that Notre Dame can be a fit for them. To me, the whole RKG thing was just another way of saying we are going to start our recruiting outside of the top 100, and when we take MAC level players in a recruiting cycle it is because they are RKGs.

Like on the field, you flip on the Neanderthal gene and get after it for 60 minutes. Just flip it off when you're not on the field and be a good person to others, stay out of your own way and don't compromise yourself by being in situations that could be bad for you and for the team.

I remember seeing him at the grotto on a snowy day in December last year. Looked like he was freezing his ass off. I’m glad the cold weather didn’t have a negative impact on him.
