No denying Reese is a dog after a bone with recruiting. Look how well freshman have contributed on the offensive side this year. Hope he has kept one or two of the receiver plan B’s on simmer for 2022 in case needed.

the one thing I will say in regards to Tate and Styles the younger being locks to OSU (which i believe). Styles had a legit reason for all the trips he made to ND. What are Tates? It sure seems like the interest is beyond legit.

Ohio State being a wide receiver factory with multiple 5 star QBs behind Stroud. Probably the worst team to go head to head with for an elite WR right now.

I don't disagree at all. I fully expect us to lose out for the reasons you say. I'm just pointing out he has to have some legit interest for all these visits, as it isn't like he has a brother on campus to come see with Mom and Dad.

That's a very small trend at state schools. When a kid gets into ND with just 3 years of HS... I'll be shocked.

That's a very small trend at state schools. When a kid gets into ND with just 3 years of HS... I'll be shocked.

With the NIL it is probably going to be exploding as a thing.
If the kid is an elite student (like could go to Stanford) or Yale) ND should make it happen. Probably not for the ones who are borderline.

Outside of Tate, the next highest WR in the midwest for '23 is Anthony Brown from Springfield OH (#35) followed by Malik Elzy. Won't be any easy recruitments for high caliber WR talent.
