Not what I said at all but cool. I said it was less than 100% about NIL. Is not 100% one thing really all that hot of a take?

You can trace back weeks where I agreed something seems to have shifted about Bama recruiting in general that is putting them over the top on these. Over the top and 100% are two different things.

If Tennessee called up Keeley and offered him (within reason) more than Bama I believe he’d go to Bama still. Again this doesn’t seem to hot to think a prospect might be considering it’s ALABAMA + NIL not just NIL.

I'm 29 and I know which one I would pick, and I love ND more than any of them. Probably all of them combined. Being non competitive with NIL is a non starter.

ND BOT have zero desire to offer a competitive upfront NIL package to match the fair valuation and worth of the Elite 5 stars. Confidence level is near zero. No official decommitment yet but he won't be playing for ND. None of this is for lack of effort on the coaching staffs part. They did their job.

So he won’t say it straight up, but he has on a round-a-bout way said that Keeley isn’t committed anymore.
He made a comment that it will be really hard to get Keeley in the end if he decommits publicly, and he is hearing Keeley is probably leaving that direction.
Today, when someone posted old Keeley comments from a week ago about being committed to ND, he said those comments are outdated & not accurate at this time.

The guy is a total Soup Nazi. I know so many who have left that Board. He used to support BK until after the 2011 Vanderbuilt Game where BK told him that he wasn't going to answer his stupid question. He then became the biggest BK hater. He loves his Tommy Rees too.

Anyways, I hate to state the obvious - ND without NIL will not be much better than BK at LSU with NIL in the coming years recruiting wise. We can have the most exciting, charasmatic new HC in CFP but 5 stars and their families want the cash also.

He’s fantastic at making you pay money monthly without giving you any real intel. Don’t just tell us it’s not accurate. I’m paying money. Tell me what’s up. He doesn’t do it until afterwards when it doesn’t matter.

You don't, in fact, "hate to state obvious" as long as it involves these sorts of low-value doom and gloom posts. ND's NIL is very competitive. But we don't do pay-for-play, which is different, and is likely to cost us some 5-star recruits until some order is imposed on this chaos. If you can't handle that, then you should probably take a break from following NDFB recruiting.

Yeah, they’ll probably get someone in ‘24 but he won’t be as good. Unless they offer Carr so much money the family can’t say no. I don’t put it past Saban at all. If he wants him, he will try like hell. I realize the Carr’s are probably well off and I think they’re locked in, but I will have slight anxiety about him until he takes the field in a gold helmet.

What basis do you have to state FUND is “very competitive”. If so that is great. Keon is a very smart kid and can decide and understand the value of FUND if it’s truly “Very Competitive”. He is a smart kid that can compare a simple lump sum versus payments at his ND career.

But like it or not it’s about money whether it’s upfront or paid while at the University. I would bank on NCAA straightening this mess out. Perhaps a lawsuit by a disgruntled player might have a court wade into this disaster.
