Repeat NIL deal for an ND football player. Hamilton had also signed a deal with Rhoback

I know a lot of people like using players like Estime to wear down the opposing defenses starting early in a game. I understand the logic but in my experience it's more effective to put them in play in the 4th quarter when teams are already worn down and no longer want to tackle him. I'm thinking Robert Hughes in 2010 vs USC (which still to this day is one of the most glorious drives I've ever witnessed live).

Why not both?

In competitive games, I think you start and end the game with Estime. Let the other guys take up touches in the middle. In blowouts like Saturday. I hope Estime never sees the field after the 3rd quarter.

Arguably the best game of his career so far. 156 total yards, 2 TD, 9.6 yards per carry.
I know he had a big run, but he got stuffed at the line a lot. I know the line didn't play well, but my impression was that outside of a couple of plays that he didn't run very well.

The speed to runaway from the D on the 80 yarder cemented it, he gone after this year. Good for him, and ND.

I’ve got shamrock colored glasses but I really am glad we got him instead of Shipley

Pulling away from the D on that long run reminded me of some of the runs Bettis had at ND (like against Florida in the Sugar Bowl). #7 is just so fun to watch.

I wish I could see quicker developing plays when he gets the ball sometimes. He really just needs to barrel in there with little to no tippy taps and finding the hole. Just get low and go.

That's probably just me though. I love him so much. I expect 10 yards every time he touches the ball.
