Super athletic skinny long kid from NC that might be a really good pass rusher? Sounds vaguely familiar.

Yes please.

My favorite DE-only guy in the class for ND. I'd take Bowers and Trigg for positional flexibility however.

129 tkls ... 27 TFL ... 9 Sks ... 9 FF ... 3 Int/1 P6 in 13 G.

* Does play in the lowest division in NC but they play in a conference.

247 says he's a S. Car lean.

Absolutely. But this one is two inches taller and has a.... wait for it.... 7-2 wingspan.

I’m with Crus. Hopefully we can get a visit and into this race. Best prospect on the quickly expanding DE board.

This is our guy that we can get three, but we recruit him until the end.

Top 8, not 10 btw.

Even better.

They should recruit him and Kechaun Bennett exactly the same... and offer George Wilson too. And take who pops first... and second.

Really surprised he’s not rated higher by the services. Seems like an elite edge rusher in the class.

Really hope we are able to get one of them. Bennett is certainly on that list. I’m also going crazy over here wondering why there is no talk of Joshua Robinson.

I've been drinkin since brunch but I'm sure I read something out of ND network about who he's interested in and it pointed to ND not being in the top group.

He does appear to be a fit it they prioritized him. We'll see.

The NC State analyst, Michael Clark gave him a Clemson CB today

He's 28/28 on the year.

Orange & Purple are a horrible color combo.

I think most Clemson fans would be content with never seeing the color purple again.

Clemson can die in a fire.

And to think I was rooting for them Jacoby Ford and CJ Spiller's senior year.

Sort of hoping Florida State would come good (maybe at the expense of Georgia).

Clemson believes the top 3 is Clemson, Bama, and UNC in that order.

ND is getting Clemson'd on the recruiting trail.

I have to admit that I do like Dabo though...makes me wonder what he would do if Alabama came calling.

It'll happen. No doubt Bama opens the coffers, when Saban hangs it up, to try and lure Dabo to Tuscaloosa.

Dabo doesn't leave Clemson. The coach that follows Saban is screwed. He has set such an impossibly high standard, the next guy will fail most assuredly.

I don’t think Dabo leaves Clemson. Unless he’s looking for a new challenge, is lured by going home, or something like that. Cause money surely won’t be the issue. Clemson is already more than willing to match or exceed anything Alabama throws at him and their facilities and program are on par or even better than Bama’s.

I don't think it's likely he leaves for Bama, but outside the state of South Carolina, would anyone be surprised if he did? You'd have to think he would be their #1 target short of Saban forcing a HCIW situation with someone on staff.

Dabo wouldn't be screwed.

The only negative I could see happen is he takes the Bama job, Venables stays at Clemson and now he has that dynamic to deal with. But... Saban's done just fine at Bama with umpteen different OC/DC's.

But it wouldn't surprise me if he passed. Clemson's gonna basically match anything Bama throws at him and the Clemson area is nicer than Tuscaloosa. On the other hand, not only is Dabo a Bama alum but he's from Birmingham which is an hour away. Maybe that means more than money?

Venables seems to be happy making bank and letting Dabo take the heat. Something to be said about not having to explain to the media why your players are stealing crab claws from the local grocery. South Carolina and Clemson have made Dabos life pretty nice, somehow I don't see him going to Alabama for a few dollars. I don't know how big his ego is, maybe he wants to become a bigger name than Saban.

Would Dabo consider the NFL? Would the NFL consider Dabo?

If Dabo goes to Bama he’ll be constantly compared to Saban (he already is but it’ll be about his Alabama success). If he wins a title or two they might say it’s with Saban’s players, if he only wins 3 then they’ll say he couldn’t do what Saban did with the pressures of Bama, etc. etc. I think all that stuff is ridiculous but still people will be saying that stuff so idk if Dabo would subject himself to that. He can be a deity in South Carolina and make $10M a year for the next 15 seasons before going out at an early age of 65. Idk seems to me that Dabo’s got his own program that he built and won with and there’s no reason to go back to Bama.
