He gone. Many mock drafts were recently updated, and given that we're at the end of the season there probably won't be a lot that changes till combine season. All the mock drafts I've seen have him as a Top 10 pick. In some he goes as the first OL off the board, but some have Fashanu going first. Fashanu is very good, but I think Alt is a bit better. That's a different discussion. One more year.
It’s a simple math equationWhy is everyone in such a hurry to grow up?
Stay in school... enjoy your youth for as long as you can.

They’re both gone IMOWatch, Fisher will declare & Alt will stay…
Probably.They’re both gone IMO
AgreedProbably.
Fisher has been getting bad advice from someone.
First, he lost too much weight, which really affected his strength.
Now he is looking to declare.
His size, strength, quickness & technique were near perfect his Freshman camp.
He got worse under HH, and way too big. Then dropped too much of the weight.
His original 330 was about perfect for him.
Going up to near 350, then all the way down to 315 were both mistakes.
Hard to say he got worse under HH when he was injured for all but 2 games in 2021, not much to base his prior performance on. Harry was probably the best coach he had, jury is still out on Rudolph but the results haven't been great so far. We already know Jeff Quinn didn't cut it.Probably.

He didn’t like HH.there was a rumour or suggestion that fisher did not like Rudolph. What came of that rumour?
Eichenberg was the lowest pick out of this group, going 42nd overall. What an insane run it's been at LT over the last decade plus: Martin, Stanley, McGlinchey, Eichenberg, and Alt.
going to be hilarious to see how many dumb teams pass on himHe's going to be a regular All-Pro and Pro Bowl guy. I'd say he's the third best OL since the start of the Kelly Era behind Martin and Nelson, two future Hall of Famers.
FIFYExpected. Good luck to him, would love to see him play for the Colts next year
This will most likely end up being true, but I could see him being the best of all of them. Alt was a TE just a few years ago and has already blossomed into a spectacular LT. I don’t think he has gotten anywhere close to his ceiling yet. Joe Thomas vibes. He's going to be a regular All-Pro and Pro Bowl guy. Rest assured....the Bears will be onegoing to be hilarious to see how many dumb teams pass on him

They have greater needs than OT. They start an LOT who was drafted in 2022 and a ROT that was drafted this year. They both hold up pretty well as of now. Plus whoever misses on Alt could have access to draft Fashanu.Rest assured....the Bears will be one
Yeah I'm with you, I would love Alt but if the Bears are in a position to draft Alt, it's possible they could get Marvin Harrison Jr instead or Nabors out of LSU and another top WR is a much bigger need for this team. I don't think anyone could have guessed it before this season, but OT ain't a position of need for the Bears right now. Your list and mine are mostly the same but I'd go with Safety over Corner with the expectation that Jaylon Johnson gets extended and Eddie Jackson is cut (since his cap savings would mostly pay for Jaylon's contract). They have greater needs than OT. WR, Corner, Edge, Interior OL, RB and possibly QB yet again are likely areas of focus going into this offseason. OT likely not one of those. They could potentially trade out of the first pick again. They could trade Fields and take Williams then get a WR. There are different scenarios.
Big changes have happened with the Commanders and there are going to be more after the season. If they have a Top 5 pick, hard to see Alt getting past them. They need that franchise LOT again, which they have not had since Trent Williams.
