Still a beast...sigh

If it makes you feel better, he's going to Michigan, so nothing he does will matter for the next few years and he'll probably get lost in the shuffle during a coaching change before his eligibility runs out.

Sounds like a classic case of a HS coach that got really far into his ear...

No kidding!

ND was never really in it for Edwards with this arrangement in place.

Edwards had 3 TD's in a state final blowout win yesterday. Kid will probably be Michigan's Mr. Football

Imagine being so desperate to land a recruit, that you have to hire a HS coach for one of your 10 on field assistants LMFAO

ND considered a HS coach with links to a recruit for the CB job in Steeples, and many on the board seem open to him again for the S job or any opening. Not sure how that’s different.

Hasn’t Harbaugh done this before?

I remember when Houston Nutt was basically told to hire a HS coach to ensure they didn’t lose the “Springdale 5” to out of state schools. Two (Ben Cleveland & Damien Williams) were already committed to UF. Bartley Webb was committed to ND.

Nutt reluctantly hired Malzahn as OC. #1 player in America commits to UA. Cleveland & Williams flip to UA. The fifth kid was a throw-in and got a free ride to UA. Webb is the only one who stuck w/ his commitment but never saw the field due to a career ending shoulder injury.

Malzahn left the following year for Tulsa OC. Williams transferred to SC where Mustain eventually joined him. Cleveland battled injures at UA.

Webb got a Notre Dame degree & Williams had a stint in the NFL w/ the Titans.

The above situation likely failed b/c it was reported that Nutt was under orders from AD to hire Malzahn so he was not thrilled about that. If Harbaugh has a good relationship w/ Bellamy and they are on the same page, it may end up being a great hire.

Yeah Rashawn Gary's Coach from Paramus got a job at UM after Gary signed with them. Also didn't they take some kid's mother as the "Team Mom" before??

Yup. Didn’t Shea Patterson’s brother get a GA spot as a condition for Shea choosing UM as his transfer destination?

He definitely got something at Ole Miss, which is why his defense of not knowing about any violations and therefore his automatic transfer waiver was laughable

Can't be mad at a kid for doing a deep-dive on his university's traditions.

Religious bigotry is #puremichigan
