Clarkston got handled by Southfield AT+T this past week, a bit of a surprize considering their stature

From reading some freebies about Spindler, it's pretty obvious that Quinn is ALL over him.

Even Carmody mentions Quinn talking about Spindler and how they (ND and Commits) are targeting him.

Here's Loy's freebie:

Baker looks so Athletic, more like a TE, not an OT. He makes Rocco look unimpressive

Personally I think Baker has maybe the best LT high school film I've seen since Greg Little. He has the build and moves of a future top 10 pick.

if he's healthy....he may come in and start from Day 1

Let's hope not.

Hopefully Eich is back for a 5th and Tosh can put on about 30 much needed pounds.

Then he's starting LT in '21 & '22.

sounds like Spindler is more of an interior OL prospect right now
Without a doubt IMO. There is no doubt he could be a very good college OT but his future beyond that is better suited in the long term as a OG. I love and agree with his player comparison on 247 is Zach Martin. I could see him playing anywhere on the interior.

In fact I like most of the '21 OT listed targets as interior lineman. Don't get me wrong I think all these guys can play as OT, just think they would be even more dominate as OG's.

I like Spindler, Fisher, Tengwall more so as OG.

You have to take it with a grain of salt, given he was interviewed right after the visit, but if what he said still resonates with him later, we have a very good shot with him.

Can you imagine if that was your middle and you were bookended by Tosh and Carmody/Q. Carroll?

Visiting Notre Dame on March 20-22. Blake Fisher and Tengwall will also be there. Per Loy

Matt Freeman at ISD posted earlier in the week that we are getting some real traction here. And BGI feels the same. Singer at BGI went as far to say that he's close to putting in a future cast.

We're for sure recruiting him as an OL, but then again we recruited Tillery as an OL too.

So if ND lands "the Big 3", do they take another linemen to make 4?

Barring attrition, ND is projected to have 12 scholarship OLineman in 2021. They could presumably take only 3 especially if they’re that talented with Spindler, Fisher, and Tengwall, but for numbers purposes I’d think 4 would be better. Idk who’d wanna join though if the big 3 were committed cause it’d be an uphill battle to playing time. I think the position is a true 3-4 number right now. I definitely think Dillan Gibbons will be gone by year 5 and there’s rumor of a medical along the lines at some point this offseason. Mission #1 is try hard for the big three and worry about the 4th spot later. Doesn’t mean don’t keep recruiting Milum and others.

I heard the medical rumor too, both OL and DL. Brian Smith keeps saying 4 to 5, but 5 seems high. 4 seems about right. If the land the big 3, I say shoot for a pure tackle with upside. Fisher/Spindler are like Quinn Carroll T/G hybrids. Tengwell seems like a pure road grader interior guy.

If they can get the guys they want, I think without a doubt they would take 5 but they aren't taking that many if they aren't getting the top ofbthe board talents.
There is no question Rocco is an OL and IMO he can play anywhere on the OLine. I think the 247 player comparison is spot on comparing him to Zach Martin. Tengwall can play inside or outside other than C. Tengwall IMO is the closest thing to Q. Nelson that there is hence why I like him best as a OG.
