If kids are going to flip; flip sooner than later. Is he staying committed to ND as a backup plan? Kelly needs to do what Weis did, if recruits are looking elsewhere that is what Weis did.

He is the only committed not visiting in March.

That's been Kelly's policy, too, I believe

Everyone that matters knows the status of his committment. Every OL that ND is recruiting (offered or not) knows who is in the class and what the plan is until the 2021 Offensive Linemen's Summit (Jeff & Tommy's Slumber Party) next month.

If you believe apples don't fall from the tree... maybe they should invite this guy?

If HH was still in SB, he'd have 100 CB's.

Why?

Whether Quinn is as good an OL coach or better than HH remains to be seen, but he is unquestionably a more willing and harder worker recruiter.

As for the Bears connection, HH just got fired after the OL regressed considerably under his watch.

Because HH and Olin are tight.... duuuuuuuuu-uuuuuuh???

Don't you be comin' in here correctin' me boa! I"M the first one here who risked banishment for being blasphemous enough to call out HH while you skirts still had your collective noses up his colon.

And I don't believe for a second that the problem with the Bears OL had absolutely anything to do with HH coaching or style of coaching......the talent level of the OL in Chicago are piss poor at best, and I read somewhere that it was egos along the OL that was more the issue. Specifically Leno and Massie were two names that were relayed

I mean he's not just flirting, he's overtly flirting with our rivals. Bye, Felicia!

Why hasn't he decommitted yet?

He just isn't looking off the menu, sounds like he wants to order off the menu.

He’s not a commit. The reason he hasn’t publicly decommitted is because it’s too embarrassing to say your decommitted because the coaches dropped you. It’s that simple.

He has to shop and look off the menu out of necessity.

And then he gets to "flip", having his new team steal him right from under the noses of ND's staff.

Absolutey. Wish the team would simpley put something official out about the SEVEN commits in the 2021 class to Loy & Singer so they see there's no Crippen on there and they update their 247 & Rivals profiles.

Those are the only thing's that make him "committed" right now.

Here's another head scratcher -- why do WE have him on the commits list?

Good question, I washed him in things I control.

I just saw he's still on the Front Page, not sure who has the eraser for that.

So I've been following Crippen and this thread for some time now. If any or all of this is true and they fell out of love with each other that's all fine and dandy. Crippen wants to look elsewhere and ND coaches don't feel his warm fuzzy love anymore. What I can't wrap my head around is this idea that ND is being the nice Catholic school that they are by allowing him to look at someone else's menu??? Since when did Kelly become such a sweet guy?? Is Crippen that great that they are playing nice in hopes of keeping him??
Something doesn't make sense with this situation! Michigan has 260 offers out there , OSU has 190 and ND has 111. Michigan is throwing as many lines in the water as possible which gets them nowhere fast. Point I'm getting at , ND needs kids that are committed and loyal to the program. ND doesn't need kids who think they can make the rules!!!

I think he’s been told he no longer a part of the class by the coaching staff directly and he no longer is welcome at ND. I don’t think ND’s staff is playing nice with him cause he’s great. I think they’ve actually dropped him as a recruit for taking visits to other schools. I think the only side that hasn’t decommitted is Crippen’s side cause, as many people have said, it’s embarrassing to get dropped as a recruit by the staff so he’ll “flip” to another school soon enough and then he’ll not look so silly for taking other visits. The only thing that wouldn’t make sense for this recruitment would be for Crippen to still be a part of the class come December and Quinn to still actively be recruiting him cause that’d go against everything they’ve been preaching. Unless they are trying to get him to “recommit” lol. Anyway, I’m pretty sure Crippen is not going to ND in fall 2021.

I think there’s a better chance that some non-offered OL are a part of this class in the end versus Crippen.

coaches can't publicly talk about a "commit" unless they have signed a loi, so BK and company can't say anything....but they aren't visiting him so that is all you need to know

The edit was done by ND for the committed players. Blake re-tweeted it @ those specific guys. ND didn’t specifically leave out Dellinger. Though I could see the argument being made for them directing it through Blake.

Yea. We’ll never know who exactly ND is telling Blake to recruit and how much of the tweeting at guys was his own thing but he’s definitely informed as to who ND’s recruiting somewhat at minimum cause he added Tristan Leigh to this edit who he didn’t have before on previous edits. Dellinger might not care about Twitter and maybe neither does Reuben Fatheree but I think the puzzle pieces seem to indicate that ND’s focusing on the guys in Fisher’s twitter mentions. We’ll find out more come March 20-22.

That tweet is the closest we can get to an official statement from ND. Greg is off the front page.

Officially confirmed his processing on twitter.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Thank you ND! <a href="https://t.co/MlHl7KdynM">pic.twitter.com/MlHl7KdynM</a></p>— Greg CRIPPEN (@gregcrippen) <a href="https://twitter.com/gregcrippen/status/1235362532895977480?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 5, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Probably handled that tweet the best he could, IMO.

Unfortunately there are some DB ND fans giving him shit on twitter. Don't do that. That's gross.
