Freebie in the tweet below:

While Buchner has a lofty ranking among the nation's best, Crippen hasn't been ranked by any recruiting services as this time.
In the end, Crippen found a home at Notre Dame and new that he wanted to be a part of "O-Line U" under offensive line coach Jeff Quinn.

247 Rating Boss: Hey intern, drop that Crippen kid 200 points for committing to ND.

247 Rating Intern: You didn't rate him yet sir

If this dude is blocking guys like he does at 270 imagine what he can do once balis gets a hold of him. On film he plays nasty but also pretty agile. He pulls pretty well too.

That escalated quickly. Solid offer list anyway. Is he good?
FWIW, he went to the same high school, pre-IMG, as Kalel Mullings. And Justin Yoon. Maybe he’ll score a bunch.

When Saban pulls out all the rings, and opens all the boxes for you, you're good

Very lean right now, which can be seen as good or bad. One thing to remember, he is still a SOPHOMORE in high school. Likes to pull, does a decent job of washing DL. Like his feet, but feel he gets upright too often. Not gonna hammer a kid who still has two years left in high school. Really like his upside though.

I love this pickup and I predicted he'd be one of the '21 OL commits just didn't see it happening anywhere near this soon. That said he's a Sophomore like you said meaning he's most likely only 15/16 years old, so with 2 more years of HS the lean issue isn't an issue. If ND is getting the type of classes we are hoping for then these guys aren't going to be starting for some time with equal talent ahead of them in the program. In Crippen's case he will hopefully have plenty of time before he's need with Zeke Correll ahead of him waiting for his shot at C.

The part I appreciate most about the IMG kids, is that they'll face top level talent every day and receive top level coaching.
