Hill would make sense, he's a guy who probally won't expect to play right away and I think he can fill out and be a great guard. He has a nice frame already

I’m sure there’s a big ROI calculation going on with a guy like Wagner (who I’m sure Oregon bid a good amount for) and Hill. Even if he’s raw, Hill’s upside at a lower price point makes sense, especially with the other 4 OL (probably) in the fold.

I wonder if Simien would still be a take. I would hope so. I can see a big exodus of lower end roster OL next year

I would imagine they wanted to take 5 all along and didn't want to be left scrambling if they lose out on one. My guess is they'll still take Simien, but they wanted 5 for sure and he's not a guarantee to be in the class, but should he decide to he'll be a take.

It looks like Von Brandt will be in the fold soon and from there Notre Dame will keep pushing for five-star interior offensive lineman Albert Simien. Texas A&M has been the one setting the pace but the Irish are another giving him a lot to think about.

Alright calling my shot - this kid has a ton of recent ND related follows, including Gino, Jansen, a OL Analyst, Singer, Freeman, and even our boy Bruce.

3 star Currently committed to UCLA but huge frame.

What a snipe

If it's a safety, maybe Jaylyn Jones or Greedy Williams.

Or Xavier Watts=Xavier=Xavier Muhammad??

Or it means nothing for today and refers to DF and LVB as mhunter stated lol
With Tavares Harrington to Michigan, Gavin Williams to USC, Greedy Williams already committed to Texas, and Jaylyn Jones already committed to Miami, I do think our next safety commitment will be a flip. Michigan and USC are going nowhere fast this year, so my prime candidate for a flip would be Harrington or Williams.

I would hope so but if not then this would be the "issue" that has seemed to plague ND in recruiting at times. In a numbers crunch taking the lower end guy who's ready to jump at the bit instead of waiting on the "elite" guys who want to take time to decide. Usually these moves have bit us in the ass, but I don't understand why not wait a little longer on higher end guys because 3* guys are ALWAYS ready to accept the scholarship from ND and some use us just to gain leverage and other offers.

Because the staff knows what they’re doing. I’m not saying that everyone should follow them blindly, but this is a well oiled machine. The culture and process that Freeman has built is extremely impressive. They are making very little mistakes and when they do, he immediately corrects those mistakes. There isn’t another head coach that I would want to lead this program. ND fans are really fortunate that Kelly left the way he did and we were able to get Freeman as head coach.
