I've been hearing this for a decade too.

When i say resources I mean in the pie in the sky intangibles that the fans can clutch onto. I dont think its difficult for a 55 year old FSU fan to convince himself that Deion Sanders could restore FSU via recruiting, renewed fan/donor engagement, teaching kids to play the FSU way, etc.

If Norvell is fired on Dec. 1, 2026, he would be owed $46.7 million, according to the terms of his contract, which was obtained by USA TODAY Sports.

I really don't feel sorry for anyone in this situation. The guy turns 45 next month and would likely land, at worst, an OC job somewhere for more a couple million a year.

They would have to line up his replacement through back channels prior to getting rid of him. Make sure you know you'll get the next guy you want. It would all be incredibly expensive, which is the bed they ultimately made for themselves.
