Knock on wood, what is amazing is no one in this class that we have heard of has taking other visits while being committed to ND. Also, we have had zero decommitments. It will be interesting to see who the staff tries to flip going down the stretch this next month.

McKeough (#9 NAT) & Dunham (#10 NAT) both retained their five-star status.

Players like Adams (#23 NAT), O'Brien (#24 NAT), Premer (#27 NAT) and Ewetade (#28 NAT) are all on pace for five-star status in the final update.

Pouncey #96 NAT
Smith #104 NAT
Finley #110 NAT
Walton #121 NAT
Osborne #134 NAT
Patrick #139 NAT
Fryzel #195 NAT
Thom #206 NAT
Golden #229 NAT
Frazier #239 NAT

Nichols kept his four-star status but is outside the Rivals300.

So it appears we're going to sign more five stars than any other team? Crazy what happens when we can pay players too.
Yeah this is nuts:

Also, reportedly this is a product of us not having much flexibility with some undergrad transfers and being able to allocate more funds to HS recruiting than some other teams might.

We choose to use the draft and not focus on free agency. College fb is the NFL now

Would I be correct in assuming that the issue is still with undergrad transfers who aren't just 1 year out of HS or who didn't spend 3 years at an elite academic institution (Riley Leonard-Duke, Brandon Joseph-Northwestern)?

This is a perfect example of why engaging with college football* fans on social media and message boards is a fast track towards cynical dislike of your fans/readers. He goes smart ass instead of "isn't this awesome!?" when player rankings go ND's way. I get where he's coming from, we are assholes to him, but I don't think it's reason to go negative trying to score a cheap point

Little bit of a perfect game scenario going on so Idk if talking about it could lead to a jinx, but pretty incredible that there hasn't been a single de-commit let alone even a commit visiting elsewhere. This is a testament to the staff, winning, and fully embracing NIL. Signing day is in 17 days. I hope this class is the trend and not the exception.

Currently the #1 class on Rivals/On3
Sources: Lincoln Riley is beside himself. Driving around downtown Los Angeles begging (thru texts) the AD to drop ND and schedule the College of Southern Nevada Coyotes.

No decommitments and not one recruit from Indiana and Illinois, but possibly 6 five stars. Pretty unbelievable how this class has played out. With some great momentum for the 27 class, it feels like top five recruiting classes are going to be the norm moving forward.
