I agree with you in the bold. KVA being close with Faraimo assisted in his recruitment. I think ND will get Ili here for a visit for the USC game and he'll be pleased with the LB play.

I think most schools do these days. They are willing to pay upfront immediately (if the state allows), but they either have to pay it back or have a buyout clause if they flip.

Now ND has to make the CFP. Think about all those practices those young guys could get. It would be a good snowball effect for having freshmen get on the field early, produce, win, get drafted, and recruit better

That is a huge deal. We would kvetch previously if a guy stayed in high school instead of EE'ing back when there was a limit. But now without a limit, it really seems like everyone should be on campus early if their high school allows.

Every week, coached WRs and STs for Prep and Semi-Pro and played WR and ran back kicks and punts in college. So probably watched enough to make someone's head spin or to make themselves believe that a walk on was the best option to return punts at Notre Dame. Regardless of what other programs are doing, Hurleman wasn't the BEST option we had at our school. If your asking about watching CFB, how many walk-ons did you see returning punts for a team in the top 25? I don't think one would have to watch much FB let alone play the game to know that Hurleman, Salerno or Finke were the BEST options to return punts. They went back to basically catch the ball and nothing more and if your hinting at the return being taken out of Football, well Tyree certainly looked fine just a season ago.

— Sophs: Dixon, Reiff, Sulfsted (maybe Burgess)

— Recruits: Golden, Hola

With all the rotation the DL does during the year, and with a possible 16 game season, more depth please.
