I had read he had work to do in the classroom and that was unlikely to happen. Also, when the Deuce pulled out early choosing Auburn, that was an additional factor.
Wondering how much work a student would have to do these days if they're a Jr with a whole school year left to complete requirements. Classwork is so simplified these days and they basically refuse to give students homework, most everything is done in class. I remember a few teammates of mine needing a class or two or a foreign language and they all mostly got it completed over summer and a couple Senior year. Exception would be guys without the grades or scores bound for JuCo but of course this guy is likely bound for a school like 'Bama, uGA, O$U or TAMU.

Awesome, kid has Stanford and Duke offers too. Seems like a great one to go all in on.

2026 class is guaranteed to be fun / high drama after this run. Need to take a major step forward this year. Should be Freeman’s best class.

Walton is a good back and from Georgia doesn't get better than that. Probally need a back in 2026 that is ready to come in and take some snaps right away.

Pretty sure this was Robinson’s first visit right? He became a fan when he visited A&M for the ND game

Braydon is an absolute stud and will almost certainly end up a top 150 recruit, likely higher. Has offers from everyone, including Ohio State, Bama, and Oregon.

Need to lock him down. Him, Moseley, and Salmin would be a great class considering our lack of production.
That’s a fast receiver class right there wow

Started this tracking spreadsheet last year, and it was interesting to see how it all played out. I updated the 2026 Class this morning with LIKELY (Bright Green), POSSIBLE (Light Green), and Dream (Gold).

For those who have a better sense of these things, what updates should I make to this?

Really good job! I like playing around with spread sheets and lists too! As far as accuracy goes, I wouldn’t list the offers which are unlikely beyond “dream.” This is essentially the board right now as it develops:

QB - Grubbs
RB - n/a - Osborne, Walton, Walker, Mallory
WR - Faison - Burroughs, Finley, Mosley, Salmin, Robinson, Keefe
TE - n/a - Prothro, Sutter, Premer, Anderson
OL - Nichols, Garvin - Iheanacho, Gray, Ogboko, Merrill, Ojo, Patrick, Goodwin
DT - n/a - Golden, Clark, Hola, Hill, Finch, Simeon
DE - n/a - Dunham, Jones, Blade, Katoanga, Ewetade
LB - Davis - Lli, Caldwell, Johnson, King, Clapper, Smith
CB - Smith - Adams, Thomas, Jiles, Satterwhite
S - n/a - Washington, O’Brien, Fort, Pouncey, Deck, Lherisse, Reddish

RB - swap the Cali kid Redeaux for DeStepen Walker from Missouri outside of KC. 1) before this weekends visit from Walton, I would’ve said Walker was our best chance to get a top of the board player at the position. 2) Although we made Redeaux’s Top 12 - "I'd say Oregon, Texas A&M, Tennessee," said Redeaux. "I dropped a top 12. Oregon, Tennessee, SC for sure, Georgia, SMU, Alabama, UCLA. Those are some of the main ones I'm looking at."
WR - I would remove Odom, he dropped a top 6 - Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Washington - and no ND.
- I’d slap “possible” on Finley. Both his parents were with him on trip over weekend for Junior Day where he was one of three receivers - where the others (Salmin and Robinson) have ND as likely leader. His Dad played 6 years in NFL and we do great with NFL dads ESPECIALLY those who know it stands for Not For Long. He suffered a spinal contusion in 2013 at age 26, was temporarily paralyzed, and retired from the league. Reports today state the family was impressed, his dad played his entire career in Green Bay, but hadn’t been to ND (he was born and raised in Texas and went to UT), ND is a definitely a player here vs the local teams.
-Since they are sitting good with Burroughs, Finley, Mosley, Salmin, and Robinson. Have Faison in the fold. And just offered Jayden Petite from FL - who knows the return interest as of yet - I wouldn’t say Larry Fitz’s son, who hasn’t received an offer, is a likely member of the class. He is lower rated - great bloodlines but of the 5 guys above, it wouldn’t shock me if ND landed 3 of them…and they’re still offering others, but not Fitz.
TE - Remove Harris. Isn’t happening. Add Mack Sutter. From IL. Top 10 guy at his position in the class. ND will be tough to beat and go 0/2 on the local guys between him and Anderson.
OL - Remove Cantwell - also isn’t happening. And Mpouma too. With likely Merrill, Goodwin with Nichols and Garvin - he isn’t a take.
-Haven’t offered Guthrie. He will likely be OSU, PSU, Kentucky battle. I’d remove him too.

Needed a breath
For D
DE - ND doesn’t have traction for Anthony Jones. And Ewetade is a possible commit. I think Blade is most likely an EDGE at 6’4” 230. Maybe SDE but unlikely interior. Him, Katoanga, Ewetade are most likely. Jones maybe decommit from SC and be possible too. Quinn left the weekend visit without an offer. Dunham is the dream recruit, wish he was likely, but too early. And Griffin-Haynes decommitted from UNC after Brown was fired, but has a lot of interest with Belichick. Canceled our visit to go there (where Katoanga also was ugh).
DT - I wouldn’t put Finch and Hill as likely. Good chance neither make it in the class. Possible at best. Dickson also left without an offer. Even with the rumored academic hold up, you gotta add Golden, he is top of the board.
LB - I’m fine with Caldwell listed as Safety, he wasn’t 6’3” at the visit, so maybe he plays there, and he is likely in the class at some point soon.
CB - Hankins - no offer after visit. Adams is possible and our best chance at a high level recruit at this position this cycle. Smith is likely gonna decommitt so him and Thomas are big fish. Hill isn’t happening.
S - see Caldwell above, I wish O’Brien was likely. He is possible. Major race with PSU for him. They likely lead or its 50/50.
ATH - DJ Williams - haven’t seen anything to confirm the “likely” or even probable. The staff doesn’t appear, yet anyway, to be pushing.

Many thanks! Updated below - I errrored on the side of keeping names on the board even without offers/clear interest, especially for positions that weren't as clear (mostly on defense). Most of the previous "likely" prospects were a result of CBs from Singer/Loy last spring/summer.

This would give "Likely" recruits (have CBs or are more likely than not to commit to ND):
Trent Mosley, Brayden Robinson
Tyler Merrill, Evan Goodwin,
McHale Blade
Elijah Golden
Tank King, Ja'Kobe Clapper
Simeon Caldwell

It would be a good start.

In those photos, Dakota Dickson looks huge. He's listed at 6'4" 280 on 247. Old stats? We know what he weighs now? Doesn't look like he's seen 280 since jr high. In comparison, Tiki Hola is listed on 247 as 6'2" 285. In his photo, he looks no where near Dickson in size.
