Feel like there’s been relatively little chatter on Finley, but he’s had a few nice highlights in limited social media clips.

My 10yo son watched some YouTube series that followed his high school team last year, and is insistent that ND is going to win a natty behind Finley’s receiving prowess at some point.

My only choice is to put his entire savings and college funds towards an ND futures bet.

Total crap list. John Mateer at 89 😂, but no Traore, KVA, Tae Johnson, Shuler, Bowen. Hell 80% of the D should be on that list.
You'll prefer The Athletic's list then. We had six. (Moore. Carr. Knapp. KVA. Traore. Tae)

I think they may use him to spell Aneyas Williams, but Kedren Young ... assuming he is all the way back, which people seem to suggest he is ... is more likely to out-touch Nolan James because he runs violently and is guaranteed to carve out a role.

Regular season I expect Aneyas Williams to get around 150 carries with about another 150 carries split between Kedren Young and Nolan James. The freshman are likely only going to play in blowouts or with injuries.
Fine. They're freshmen, and if everyone is picking this team to win an National Championship, that's probably the only time we should see them.

I'm a Kedren Young fan and the impression I get based on what I read is that he is very much all the way back. Whatever that means for carries I can't say, but the Williams-Young battery with James in the Payne role sounds enticing.

When I saw the video of our o line this summer, I was thinking of how good Prescond looked and was thinking it would be nice if could find his way on the field.

I was
6 weeks could even be optimistic depending on where the fracture is in that bone. It has less blood supply and is a notoriously slow healing area. I was in a boot for 3 months when I fractured mine. This could easily turn into a 3-4 month recovery window
I was referring to time to be out of the boot which is usually about 6-7 weeks, how old were you when that happened 3-4 months is extremely long to be just removed from the boot. I had a teammate in college (230lb LB) who was out of the boot in 5 weeks and returned for our game against FSU around Thanksgiving. He suffered the injury September 7. 😳😳

I think the staff is intentionally being misleading with the WR depth. They don't care that we want to know. I bet the first depth chart has like 2 "ors" per receiver position for the 2nd spot.

The Field and Slot spots in particular will in practicality be different than any paper depth chart, ex:

Field: Faison - Jeffrey
Slot: Greathouse OR Graham - Frazier

vs

Field: Faison OR Graham OR Greathouse - Jeffrey
Slot: Greathouse OR Graham OR Faison - Frazier

I am just surprised we haven't heard more about Graham. All indications from the spring and summer stuff was that he was nice.

Since we're bored out of our gourd does anyone have any guesses as to what Quincey Porter's Friday surgery was given he was already exercising on a bike Monday?

My guess is something like a PRP injection, they inject platelet rich plasma into problem areas, used to be that guys would go to Germany to have it done (Peyton Manning, Tiger Woods) but I think the FDA cleared it within the last 5-10 years. From what I understand it helps a great deal with inflammation but one of our ortho bros could correct me. Im only a lab guy. Can we just get this guy some BPC157 and maybe a little test
