I really like that duo as well but it's so many from my childhood and before that I really liked such as Thomas/McElroy, Willis/Presley, Thomas/Sanders😳, Rozier/Craig and Charles White/Marcus Allen (Both won Heisman Trophy)
wow, forgot about Thomas/Sanders. Supposedly Sanders had to wait his turn. That's just insane. Also, the White/Allen combo sounds unreal.

Yup. They are at Embassy. When I got down here, I was told there was about 200-300 people just along the strip of sidewalk.
Glad my boys and safe! It’s been a reoccurrence lately. I’m hoping ND plans accordingly with extra security. I know Eddy St isn’t theirs but there are a lot of overpriced condos and homes and their million dollar clientele won’t be happy connected to the University .

ND has a lot more ownership down their they let be known….. There has already been discussions about changing hours of operations and potentially ending the leases on certain establishments.

Your first clue is that the game is in Miami…

I'm talking about the oranges in our Orange Bowl trophy. 1:46 if I posted this wrong.

They either have to replace those every few days or someone is dusting the plastic oranges three or four times a week.

ā€œOnto individual drills, the quarterbacks did something I found quite interesting. Throughout the first few days of practice, we’ve seen them take snaps under center more than Notre Dame fans are used to.ā€

Good. Although, I’m not sure why they weren’t practicing this in the past. Play action pass and QB sneaks.

Maybe I’m a boomer, but I also prefer it on the goal line and short yardage vs being in the shotgun. Unless you have a Riley Leonard type at QB

The media’s only excuse to not use it is ā€œinjuriesā€. Never in my life have I seen a QB injured himself diving forward 1 yard on a sneak.

If a QB has any hopes of playing on Sundays, they should start practicing under center.

I am spread shotgun guy. But if you don't have a dual threat qb, under center (uc) is such a no brainer in short yardage and goal line

Didn’t Mahomes dislocate his knee cap a few years ago in the playoffs on a QB sneak?

In 2010 ND scored a touchdown 4 minutes in against Michigan that video review moved back to the one. Dayne Crist got hurt on the ensuing QB sneak that went for a TD. He missed the rest of the first half which led to Nate Montana’s only live snaps. They didn’t score again in the first half, were down 21-7 at the break. Crist ended up coming back in for the second and they lost 28-24. It completely cost them the game

I remember that now and I have no memory of Montana even being on the team let alone playing. I remember back to back years key injuries vs Michigan. I think the previous year it was Floyd but might be wrong on that one

I remember it. If I’m not mistaken Nate’s first play? A flea flicker pass that’s under thrown and intercepted

Under center is better for a power/short yardage run. Starting in the shotgun gives good defenses too much time to react.

Riley was basically running the wildcat. Under center is great for our current group of backs. Williams hits the hole harder than anyone and Young is a brick shit house. The season might depend on picking up 3rd and short consistently.

Rees mentioned watching a lot of rams film. We should run uc duo. Can run out of 11, 12, and 13 personnel. Could lead to some lethal play action
