Very clean operation from all levels. 2nd string Defense doesn't miss a beat, formation/communication wise. Can tell the impact of DC being in year 2. Cam Williams took more 1st team reps than any WR and didn't do anything to show he won't continue to get every opportunity. It's now or never for him. He "smoked" DJ McKinney on a route but dropped the ball. KVA and Craig didn't do everything, but looked very on schedule for what they're allowed to do. Our punter can kick it to the moon. Quincey Porter clearly not able to do everything but he's big and physical. DBs are insane. Dallas Golden had at least two PBUs. ND will be running more motion than anyone in the country.

Driskel: Kedren Young looked the most impressive RB out there. Leonard Moore was targeted 5 times and have 4 PBUs. He literally makes the offense play with 10 guys. Jaden Greathouse looked better than he ever has before. Cam Williams first drop was terrible, after that it was the best he's ever looked. Brayden Robinson and Bubba Frazier have serious juice, moreso than others on roster.

Love the mention of Augustine. Given that Jagusah is a wildcard to play this season in any capacity, for me the difference between a potentially elite OL and a very good one, could be Augustine's ability to beat out Absher. I think Absher is a good player, and a guy ND can certainly win with, but I like him better coming off the bench if Augustine is the real deal.
I know we keep talking about it but it's brutal that an ATV accident could be what prevents us from having the best OL in college. Driskell said both Knapp and Lambert look like all-stars

I think I’m finally an “old” guy following the team, because I used to know the shit top-to-bottom, from recruiting boards three years out, to the walk-on roster, to the hometowns of everyone on the Gameday roster.

Who the fuck is Matt Jeffery?

Thanks for posting. Do we know which punter he was referring to, in his summary (Scaife or Schmidt)?

The beat can’t keep their indie rock card without praising the third string walk on slot WR

In the Irish Illustrated clip where they were running buttonhooks, Bubba Frazier looked like he was running in fast forward.
