Or they are all backtracking because all the coaches and ND beat writers have said time and time again that they were not looking for a QB. All of the smoke and "sources" came from outside of ND. Every name that was brought up came from message boards. It got to the point that people started saying Colin Cowherd is a credible source.


If there was any "smoke" im more likely to believe feelers reached out to ND on behalf of QBs. And that's why you had guys like Loy and other national beat guys chiming in. Klubnik was never leaving Clemson. I could see Ewers feeling out the market. I have no idea how Milroe became a name.

I'm not a Loy hater. But if a QBs team reaches out to ND, it does not mean ND was interested. Even if thy tell Loy they are talking to ND.

I think if we can land 1 stud DT and one backup DT along with a safety it will be a great class I think it’s good now. You bring in a number 1 WR, another potential starting WR but most likely 2 deep WR, and a replacement for Clark. Need a replacement for Watts but DB is the least of my concerns we bring in 6 Freshman and Tae and Hobbs will be more seasoned 2 of those 8 should breakout

I have not seen anyone report ND has not once looked at a QB outside of Driskell lol.

I'm old enough to remember when Freeman said he planned to bring back his whole coaching staff and then fired Stuckey the next day. I like the guy a lot but I don't believe everything he says at a press conference.
