Jayden Harrison replacement WR wise? If so would be nice. Supplement not replacement or upgrade to Faison/Greathouse would be ideal

What I find interesting is we land two big time WR’s both guys who have caught over 800 yards in a season without either knowing who will be QB next year?! 🧐 Also I hope this doesn’t scare Cam or Micah Gilbert off because I wanna see what they have

I mean tech you gotta replace Collins, Harrison and Mitchell

Right which Fields for Collins. I’m just saying Pauling I think would be our third best slot WR assuming Faison and Greathouse return.

I don’t think Pauling starts over either of them that’s just me if you watch his tape he’s a really good position WR. Great from 10 yards and in and great hands majority of his catches come from middle of the field

My wet blanket take is that both Fields and Pauling are productive college receivers but neither was a serious pro prospect. That can work out with guys like Skowronek, etc. but big picture WR is a 3-year issue now in terms of having “difference makers” and I’m skeptical that we have a great plan here to fix that. I have similar skepticism about interior DL where we are trying to plug and play in the portal.

(To be fair, I think Fields could be the most productive WRs we have had since Kevin Austin, so I’m not hating on the addition just saying overall it’s where we’re lacking relative to some other peer schools)

Well so far we haven’t landed any interior DL in the portal

I think Fields is significantly better than Pauling. I think Fields could be closer to 1,000 than 500 yards whereas Pauling will be closer to 200 than 500.

Justice Haynes to Michigan, they like running the ball...but not sure I love it.
