I thought I saw March 18th somewhere. I think the Irish Illustrated guys said it but weren't supposed to because they never mentioned it since.

spring games are a waste of time. for years i've been begging for spring scrimmages with other teams, similar to what NFL does with joint practices.

Best part for the teams is getting 1's vs 1's and 2's vs 2's, etc.
The game itself may be a waste of time but the practice reps are likely invaluable, especially for the EEs and younger guys. Can't hurt to get CJ Carr more burn with more reps with RL gone.

And, if you use the actual game as an excuse to dust off the tailgate gear and head to campus, it's actually pretty fun, and cheap.

Make of it what you will.

Yep, and I think it would be more fun for fans and more beneficial to players if we saw them scrimmage another team. In a lot of these intersquad scrimmages you have linemen going both ways, lots of guys doubled up, switching jerseys, etc.

Just scrimmage another team so you can see 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2. Win win for everyone.

Guys I see with massive opportunities given the expected limitations:

- Sophomore WRs + KK Smith

Fields not on campus, Faison (Lacrosse) and Greathouse, Pauling limited

- Guerby Lambert

Knapp, Wagner limited

- Loghan Thomas

Young, Burnham, Traore, Botelho out/limited

- Cree Thomas and Karson Hobbs

Gray, Moore limited

Love is fully healthy rn?
Yes, but I think they are going to go easy on him in order for him to fully recuperate. He has nothing to prove during Spring Practice, so why risk aggravating the injury.

Listen, I think Sam Hartman has a great track record of uncorking the deep ball at Wake Forest, but Riley Leonard's size and mobility has the potential to be a true game changer with our OL and stable of RB's... can you imagine a safety on the back end trying to decide if he's stepping towards the middle to try and stop J.Love, and then suddenly he's watching Leonard run by him to the outside???

Honestly don't think Angeli, Minchey or Carr have a shot at the job with two super veterans battling it out.

(I hate Artificial Intelligence already)

If they really think that Jagusah is an immediate All-American, that has the feel of seeing him at Tackle, not inside.

(I have no personal opinion about this; just that Instant All-American shouts Tackle to me.)
