I wish that I knew what really goes on, but if I was an NFL organization, I'd want to draft an athlete, an individual person, and not draft an organization --- and I can label "Sanders" an "organization" rather than a young man excited to join my team. I realize that I'm probably REAL WRONG on this, but the BIG organizations (the Teams) don't like something about Sanders, and you wouldn't think it was merely skill that was bothering them.

Alright Gabriel over Sanders is a funny bit now lmao

That’s a brutal pick by the Browns, Sanders aside

I mean, what GM, Head Coach, or OC is going to go to bat for a guy who might have his father, who probably has more followers than the team itself, go after you when Shedeur inevitably struggles?

And Shedeur did not help himself with his pre draft process, whether that be in the actual process or the inference that his father is still running everything.

I loved X Watts at ND. Awesome story, fun to watch, just true grit and was a difference maker for us. With that said, I’m not surprised that he was still here because it’s hard to understand how he was as good as he was

Anyone notice Saban just calling him "Marcus"? Have they been talking a bit behind the scenes?

Seems either very familiar or very disrespectful coming from a guy that had to be addressed as Coach Saban, even by the media.

Based on his assessments of BenMo and X Watts, it feels like it leans towards the former.

I think it’s because he’s in his 70’s and Freeman is in his 30’s. They also know one another. I wouldn’t think too much beyond that. If you listen to Saban much, he calls all the people he respects and coached with by their first name: Kirby, Lane, etc.
