I think Shedeur has NFL starter caliber talent. There’s only a handful of teams in the end that needed a starting QB though. I think you’re seeing some of those teams drop out due to the character concerns and others due to thinking the 2026 class will be special. Once you aren’t drafting Shedeur to be a potential starting QB, there’s really no point in taking him now as a backup.

I have no beef with Deion or Shedeur. I say that to say that I don’t know why anyone would take him at this point.
