I learned something today, maybe someone can tell me if I'm late to the party on this or what.

Loy recently posted a thread about 3 ND 2024 recruits who he thought were most likely going to get bumped to 5* status. CJ, Kyngston, and one other I can't remember. (I'll leave it out so I'm not just straight posting premium content... lol)

At any rate. He mentioned later in the thread, recruits who don't make the top 247, (and I would suppose this relates to other recruiting sites) are not expected to get drafted in the NFL.

In other words, the ratings are primarily (arguably solely) meant to project their future pro potential.

This blew me away. Did everyone know this?
Yeah I made this discovery last year and posted about it and it seemed like everyone else already knew.
It is proper weird right? Like they just jump a whole entire level of the game.

Singer with two new predictions: S Ivan Taylor & CB Mark Zackery.

States that he is more confident in Taylor than Zackery, but still enough confidence with Zackery to post a prediction. Likely tells more about Taylor than Zackery.

Don’t expect any immediate commitments. Singer plays the long game and doesn’t post predictions if a kid has already silently committed.

I can’t wait to see what school Ivan Taylor actually commits to. He’s gonna be a heck of a talent for some other safeties coach to have in his room.

Taylor from Florida is one of the best safeties in the nation from what i've heard and so this would be a huge get.

"Everyone is going to keep their eyes close on 2025 Murrieta (Calif.) Valley quarterback Bear Bachmeier, who the staff is very high on. The 6-2, 205-pound signal caller has separated himself at the top of the quarterback board with Mississippi standout Deuce Knight. The staff loves both players and the thought is that whichever one wants to commit first will be the guy."

Anyone see Singer’s commit watch list for the weekend?

A) Pretty underwhelming

B) I don’t think it’s very accurate. Not surprising, Singer is usually clueless. A couple kids on the list ND wouldn’t even take their commitments if they wanted.

I didn’t see Singer’s list but I believe Tyler James put in a pick for someone on BGI…….not sure who since it’s subscriber access.

Tyler James put one in for RB Daniel Anderson.
Singer has a pick in for him too & said he is on commit watch.

Here is the thing.
Anderson probably WANTS to commit, but will ND take it right now?

ND already has a project in Thurman & is looking at elite backs for the other RB.
Why would they finish their 2025 RB tandem this early with two projects?

IB had mentioned a few weeks ago, when Loy & Singer both put picks in for Anderson,
that they were told ND was no where near taking his commitment at that point.

Marco Jones is a surprise.

As Singer alluded to, he’s not a name often mentioned for LB recruiting.

Doesn't seem too different than the last few years night USC or Clemson games tbh.

Hell even the UNC game had 30+

There is going to be 40+ when it’s all said & done.
Let me check my math…
Yeah, 40+ is 33% more than 30+

May is a heck of a talent. Luckily, he’ll likely have better coaches by the time he gets here.
