I think Strebig commits at the BBQ.

It’s funny, because ND usually gets some really good commits a year early, and fans tend to forget about them.

If Lambert & Strebig both commit that weekend, people will be pumped about Lambert & this time next year forget about Strebig, despite Strebig maybe being the better player.

ND could end up this summer with Dixon, Roberts, Strebig, Thurman, Knight, Burgess, Kaminski, Flanigan, Taylor, Augustine, Byrne, Bettis, etc…

I bet over half of that dozen ends up in the class.

Hope Knight is definitely one of them. All of them is a good possibility too. ☘️

A 2025 name I’m pretty high on is Brandon Caesar. Coming for the cookout.

Also wrestles and plays volleyball. Seems like a guy who’ll be getting a ratings bump now that Bama has offered.

This will be his 2nd visit as he made it to the Spring Game.

His former teammate (TJ Lindsey) at Bryant who also was on ND’s radar for a bit, allegedly (hearsay from his HS teammates) got $50K in cash upon arriving at Auburn for his official visit. Don’t know who the bagman was but gotta assume they weren’t employees of Auburn. Wonder if this kid got similar treatment?

I'm really glad we aren't waiting for one guy to decide before we move on with other worthy offers. The old Rees method takes it's toll on me, lol.

My guess is that they wanted to play the "you're our only target" card with Deuce to secure an early commitment, but are realizing how unlikely that is at this point. Glad they aren't waiting. Bachmeier has been racking up big time offers.

Similar build as Jack Larsen. I’d put him on commit watch. Leo was a powerhouse back in the day.

Putting this here, since most of the visitors are 2025 guys. A few of them seem like likely commitments, with a good visit.

Outside of Thurman, I’d be surprised if any committed just yet. Still very early. Think a bunch of them will end up in the class though especially along the OL.

Going from a public school in Mississippi to a private school in the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee could bode well for ND. Have to think academics may be more in order, or at least, look better for admissions.

Who knows.
Living in the Nashville area, it’s hard to imagine more of a culture difference between Lipscomb Academy and well, anywhere in Mississippi.
