Anderson or Reiff would make sense.

There was an article out that we were still recruiting RBs.

RB they are pursuing. Must have a fighters chance if they are willing to cut Anderson loose this early.
Hate pulling offers, but Anderson’s junior tape was pretty disappointing. I don’t see him being a difference maker here.

How do they do that? Stop talking to him like all my ex girlfriends did to me? Or more direct?

This is one of the less savory aspects of a sped up recruiting calendar. Programs need to push for and accept commitments from kids over a year before they can sign and sometimes
2 years before they actually enroll all while having a reasonable expectation of their developmental track.
When a kid isn't displaying that progression or has had multiple injuries, programs need to continue to recruit that position.

What’s the story? Not one ND would drop due to his play. NIL shakedown?

So was he the one who was processed? I think this might be more of a cut ties before he flips to Auburn than an actual process.

Seems like its mostly processed and his commitment was shaky at best. It seems like MF and co have now focussed on commits that once there in they are more or less done, if not wait on commiting. May clearly liked the game.

Was going through the ‘25 edge options and came across this kid from Elkhart who recently has blown up:

Offers from Georgia, OSU, Oregon, A&M, Miami, Michigan, PSU, and others. Even has a Duke offer so not sure if academics are the issue.

Anyone know the story here?

I would guess we would be behind. Cristobal flew in in a helicopter.

Might be academics or a sense that he'll be the next midwest kid that Miami will drop a massive bag for.

On who's end was it not mutual
From what I'm gathering staff pushed him out. There was the visit to Auburn but he said it was to go watch a friend play. So who knows. I think we will be fine. Shreklin is better anyways.

Feels very much like a "if you are fully committed and stop taking visits, you can stay. If you keep looking, we are upgrading"
