I think Miami just makes too many mistakes to win this game. They are far from perfect, and when they are on they can be the best team in the country, but they almost always leave points on the field (like they did against Ole Miss).

That is a weird take. Miami definitely has more talent at some key positions, including both lines and WR. Indiana is older and probably better coached. But on pure talent Miami would be the favorite here.

Miami has Toney, but IU has Becker, Cooper, and Sarratt who are all pretty damn good. I do think the lines would favor Miami, as long as they play like they can (last game was poor on both sides for what they are capable of), but IU's lines have also held up to the challenge of the playoffs and then some.

Obviously IU is a very good football team. They are well-coached, physically mature, smart and tough. But the notion this guy was spouting that Miami (and all those others) lacks the raw talent to compete with them is just not the case.

Which doesn’t mean Miami will or should win. This season is turning into the ultimate test of the “stars matter” approach to judging college football teams. Which is really interesting!

After surviving Pitt with a missed PAT and stopping Stanford at the goal line in 2012, I thought our Irish were a team of destiny.

IU has already went up against teams with better talent and beat them. The age difference is a huge advantage for IU.

It has to. There aren't that many 22-24 year old guys available in the portal. He still has a lot of older JMU guys on the team that are gone after Monday. That's why I've said next year will tell us what kind of a coach Cignetti is.
