ND should absolutely be ranked above Oklahoma. They are ass. Their offense is a total joke.
You mean Ole Miss? Okla has a good OOC win over Michigan, that could turn into a great one. The rest of the SEC has only beaten themselves.

Possible Big Ten Championship Game matchups (2025) and how they happen:

  1. Indiana vs Ohio State
    • Any scenario where Ohio State beats Michigan.
    • Indiana vs Purdue result doesn’t matter.
    • Oregon vs Washington result doesn’t matter.
  2. Indiana vs Oregon
    • Indiana beats Purdue.
    • Oregon beats Washington.
    • Michigan beats Ohio State.
  3. Indiana vs Michigan
    • Indiana beats Purdue.
    • Oregon loses to Washington.
    • Michigan beats Ohio State.
  4. Oregon vs Michigan
    • Indiana loses to Purdue.
    • Oregon beats Washington.
    • Michigan beats Ohio State.
  5. Michigan vs Ohio State
    • Indiana loses to Purdue.
    • Oregon loses to Washington.
    • Michigan beats Ohio State.
Oregon has a tiebreaker over Michigan?

This week solidifies ND as a playoff team. They simply cant be left out because they are a top 5 team in the country if you watch football.
Watching today, really watching the last nine games, it would be an absurd disappointment for us not to be in the playoffs, just based on how good this team is, and I think the committee will see that as well.

Of course you would understand it.

Still waiting for your great explanation on why the ACC would want Navy to join, drop a conference game, and how it would be in ND's best interest to join.
I barely remember saying that.
How is it you do?

Weirdo.

Realizing All of Big 12 teams that we are supposed to respect played absolute dog shit OOC. Have to think this is a league wide strategy now with 9 conference games to just have teams rack up wins and hope a 10 or 11 win team that might actually be a pretender can sneak in as an at large. I

They also generally don’t have a lot of recruiting talent - The highest rated team is TT at 29 in the 247 team talent composite. Kentucky and Arkansas would be the most “talented” teams in the B12. We’re supposed to believe these teams are totally outperforming in ways everyone else around them talent wise (outside of IU) can’t?

OOC games among Top B12 teams:
Texas Tech - 0 P4 OOC games.
BYU - W v Stanford
Utah - W v UCLA
ASU - L at Miss State
Houston - O P4 OOC games

Abysmal - Most of these teams haven’t played a roster that’s even in the top 25 of the 247 talent composite either. How are we supposed to assume that they’d match up well against the other playoff contenders? We truly have no way of knowing.

The metrics love TT and Utah which is doing a ton of heavy lifting for them, but I’m skeptical that they can properly rate them there’s so little crossover wifh other playoff contenders.

Oregon loses next week at Washington, we slide up to 8

I watched a bit of the WA-UCLA game tonight and had forgotten about WA, which is a decent 8-3 team.

Despite how much we all wanted USC to knock off OR this afternoon, maybe WA will be the team to do it.
There are at least a few years over the past 15 years where WA upset a one-loss or undefeated OR team and spoiled their season, so who knows, maybe OR will be caught sleeping and it will happen again this year...

I’m still not convinced there’s not not a path for us to get left out.
I have gone back and forth on this so much. Michigan beating OSU, BYU beating TT in the B12CG, Miami being left out of the ACCCG, Bama winning the SECCG are all awful scenarios, hell they could very well flip flop us and Miami. At the end of the day, we did this to ourselves by having no semblance of a defense in the first two games and starting out 0-2. Yesterday's win definitely had to raise some eyebrows in the committee room as far as backing their original thought that ND is on a different tier than the other bubble teams. Ideally OK drops the game against LSU or Miami loses to Pitt or Bama gets Dueced on in the Iron Bowl. I may be alone on this thought but Utah and BYU winning only improves our odds by keeping us distanced from Miami ranking wise. Vandy could very well beat Tennessee and then lead frog back over Miami. I do think that if ND stomps Stanford that it forces the committees hand and puts a red hot team on a 10 game heater into the playoffs.

I do think that Miami really hurt their odds/resume yesterday. Hopefully the committee can see through the desperate garbage time TD they scored at the end because before that, it was a 10 point game against a 3-7 team who gained the same amount of total yards.
