I mentioned Pitt beating GA Tech because we would then have a comparison point (assuming ND beats Pitt) indicating us as the better team; but NC State is same and would happily take them to beat GA Tech instead. Even better, I’ll take both NC State AND Pitt to beat GA Tech!

Despite a lot of confidence on this board about ND’s chances to make the CFP slate, assuming we win out, I think we just squeak in at #11 or 12 with the top Group of 5 conf. champion likely being placed just above #12 ND. We’ll see…

8, 9, 10, and 14 (currently) losing are all great for ND. With 4 more weeks, there’s only gonna be more of that. It’s not that ND is entitled (though, that’s a small part of it), it’s that all the teams around them will continue to play each other or get upset. Not worth playing out all the scenarios, it’s going to continue happening. Just win baby

ACC:

- Georgia Tech (1): Pitt and UGA left
- Louisville (1): Clemson, SMU and UK left
- Virginia (1): @ Duke left
- Miami (2): H2H loss, @ Pitt left
- Pittsburgh (2): head to head game

Will see where ND - Miami are according to committee. NC State also has wins over Georgia Tech and Virginia as a comparison point. 2 bid ACC still alive but a loss from the 3 remaining one loss teams doesn’t seem like that much to ask, is it?

B1G:

- Indiana (0): IN
- Ohio State (0): IN
- Oregon (1): sneaky has 3 games left they could lose to the next 3 below
- USC (2): H2H win
- Washington (2): only plays Oregon, 2 blowout losses
- Iowa (2): Oregon, USC and Nebraska left
- Michigan (2): Ryan Day can’t lose again right?

I feel like 2 bid B1G is more likely than 4 bid B1G.

SEC:

- Texas A&M (0): IN
- Alabama (1): IN
- Ole Miss (1): IN
- Georgia (1): Ga Tech and Texas left
- Vanderbilt (2): @ Tennessee left
- Texas (2): @ Georgia and A&M left
- Oklahoma (2): @ Bama, Missouri, LSU left
- Missouri (2): A&M, @OU left. On 3rd string QB.

Thanks for the loss Vols, now get ready for Vandy Week 14. OU and Missouri should take care of itself. 5 bid SEC is still possible but 2 positive results this week for ND.

Looking at the AP, GA Tech, Vandy, and Miami lost. I believe they all fall behind ND in that poll. It will be interesting to see if TX Tech jumps ND and where the committee ranks the Irish.

It is unlikely but if BYU goes 12 wins but then loses the Big12 title game they would likely have 2 in.

I thought the AP poll was only for surgeons and stupid people? Or was it stupid surgeons? Struggling to keep up. Shit, I’m just a stupid non surgeon.

Well, I'm not a surgeon and don't make 900k a year. I guess that narrows it down.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in all the schadenfreude, but Lee Corso's national championship prediction (both game participants and the winner) ended up not only a loser, but with both coaches fired. So anyone who placed that bet after his week 1 success is out some money.
