I think if we played today we’d beat both TAM and Miami.

Miami for sure. Our offense was a mess that night and it's a lot better now.
A&M has gotten better, it feels like (as have we). Hard to say how that'd game would go now, but clearly we could have/should have won then. Would probably be roughly a tossup on a neutral field.

I'm sure A&M has gotten better, but can't imagine either side of the ball has made as massive of a gain as our defense has.

That sure could be. A&M is never quite THAT good, are they? But hopefully they're not exposed as such before the playoffs, and especially not by Texas who we might be in competition with for an at-large playoff spot.

We actually won the game on the field but some nights we literally have to win twice to win a game. We definitely beat both best out of 3 and only give O$U the 2-1 advantage.
