I didn’t watch the game but Houston is a way better team the what we had on the floor. So for this to be that close of a game is positive for the rest of the season.

Down 7 at half to Missouri. 7 points was the difference between 3 stupid turnovers within, I swear, 1 minute.

Shrews got T’d up towards the end of half and held some anger heading off the court to the locker room.

Competitive game but this team is too soft to compete with real teams without going 40% from three.

Nice battle back. Down 2. All Harralson so far in the first couple mins.
Irish struggle with zone defense but Harralson drives have worked. Figure an adjustment here by Mizzu, Irish will look for kick out threes.

May go down hill from here…

One of the most frustrating things about watching them play (besides the turnovers) is when the game is on the line, everyone just stands around while Burton has the ball.

Just a massive win for this program to get the season going in the right direction. Missouri is a nice Q1 win. They’re poised to go on a nice run if they can get through TCU

In typical Notre Dame basketball fashion we tried giving this away several times.....BUT a win is a win and they definitely needed this win to count towards their maybe 16 win season. 🤣

Oh I watched them ......watched them almost give the game away 4 different times. But I did count this as a loss so there is that. 🤣

Maybe if I predict they will lose every game the opposite will happen. 🤔

Props to the boys responding in the second half last night. Best win of the Shrews era in my opinion.
Still a ways to go for them to get into the tournament discussion, but hopefully Missouri stays good and we can count that as a Q2 win come March.

Have to eat crow on Braeden so far this season, he has improved. Hope it continues.
Mohammed being the worst player on the team needs to change though for this team to do anything of note.
He is too talented to be this unproductive and playing less then (10) minutes in both of the last two games is telling me Coach Shrews thinks he is unplayable right now.
We will need him come conference play, and hopefully this is just a blip for him.

After watching Mohammed in the Rutgers game it’s perfectly justified that his minutes have gone away. He was awful. Some have said we need him to be good is we’re going to be good I disagree. Last night we were good.

It seems like Shrews agrees with you.
If Mohammed's minutes continue in this pattern I wouldn't be shocked if he leaves the program before the season ends.

Son of an NBA player, five star recruit.
He isn't here to play (5) minutes a game.

He is unplayable right now though, so props to Coach Shrews on benching him.
It's a long season, hopefully he can turn it around.

Other guys have to step up without him. Big opportunity for a guy like Haralson to take a step forward and for a guy like Mohammed to get his head out of his butt.

Shrews deserves another year regardless. Has had some real bad luck and we aren’t gonna do better than a guy like him.

Great win fellas. Not going to be easy without Burton...but the team hung on vs a decent TCU team tonight on the road. Gives me at least some hope. Haralson is the real deal!

Team executes a smoother offense without Burton. I’m sure they’ll have a few howlers when the 3s aren’t dropping but that was a helluva win
