is it safe to assume the # of early cycle signings will continue to diminish in the NIL era? Or at least the top couple tiers.

The market may adjust to offering more competitive contracts early, but seems kids are certainly understanding that it's worth listening to every school and shopping around.

Idk, last cycle seemed kids were committing abnormally early. Think you could argue that drives the value up more than anything, being a soft commit.

Did you mean March 39th instead of March 39st? Although I guess it’s kind of a hypothetical…

Prister noted that 360 former players have already registered for the B&G weekend. The gathering between the former players and the recruits was influential in getting the likes of Jaden Greathouse and Sullivan Absher committed.

As of now, uncommitted 2024s with offers to attend are:
:s::s::s::s: Edge Mylachi Williams
:s::s::s::s: OT Guerby Lambert
:s::s::s: WR Isiah Canion
:s::s::s::s: LB Brian Huff
:s::s::s: DB Davis Andrews.
:s::s::s::s: OT Grant Brix
:s::s::s::s: WR Micah Gilbert
:s::s::s::s: S Jaylen McClain
:s::s::s::s: EDGE Bryce Young
:s::s::s::s: DL Benedict Umeh
:s::s::s: ATH Justin Denson
:s::s::s: LB Chris Cole
:s::s::s: DL TJ Lindsey

MAYBE
:s::s::s::s::s: DT Justin Scott
:s::s::s::s: LB Kyngston Villamu-Asa

I suspect the list of uncommitted prospects with offers will close to double by then.

Mylachi Williams is a guy that I'm keeping an eye on. Has the academic offers and is a long/lean edge rusher with upside. As far as pure edge prospects go, I'd take him over Jacob Smith, for example.
Would love to land him and Mayo. That would be the most athletic DE class ND has had in my memory.

I don’t think this changes much for ND tbh because schools are still limited to 56 visits. But I suspect we’re going to see some top 100 recruits take 15 or so visits

A lot of bid additions to this updated list. If the Maybes come, SHEESH

With the news of McClain no longer coming, Justin Denson becomes a more intriguing target. Presently unranked though he's got offers from Tenn, MSU, Miami, and Oklahoma.

I think we should all start to pay attention to Oliver Miles a bit more, as well.

What’s the deal with Viliamu-Asa?

On the podcast yesterday, Roberts & Driskell mentioned he had cancelled a scheduled visit in the past & he hasn’t locked in his visit for this weekend yet, & they are worried about ND if he doesn’t get back in campus soon.

Don't have an answer just that I'm not invested in that recruitment until he does.

He also told Roberts that there is four schools he's really focusing on: ND, Ohio State, Miami & Washington.

Hometown USC wasn't mentioned. But, I think Chad Simmons wrote an article last week for On3 that has USC in it for Viliamu-Asa.

Viliamu-Asa is expected to OV in June, regardless if he is able to come to campus this weekend.

*EDIT*

Three schools have secured spots in 4-star LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa's top five

Simmons writes that three teams are locks for OVs: Ohio State, ND, & USC. Penn State, Washington & Miami are battling for the other two.
