The Steelers just released Mitch Trubisky yesterday. Leaves them with only one QB on their roster. New OC Arthur Smith has history with Ryan Tannehill.

If they release Trubisky only to end up picking up Fields, it'll be quite a pipeline they have to Chicago.

IMO Even if you think Caleb and Fields are very similar caliber players, you take Caleb because of the rookie deal he'll be on. Paying franchise QB money to a mediocre QB is a recipe for 7-9 win seasons.

I hope the Redskins don’t waste all the future picks on Williams. That will kill this team.

We're at the point in the rumor mill where every QB needy team wants either Caleb Williams or Justin Fields.

This question is fucking hilarious. Yes, the former Heisman Trophy winner is afraid to compete. Douchenozzle.

I think the Combine is hilarious, but the coverage of the Combine is even more hilarious than the Combine itself. Then I'm reminded that we're basically doing the same hilarious shit with high school kids, and that's most hilarious of all.

So much of this in unnecessary. A good majority of it. All the money involved and these guys can't watch film to determine whether a guy can play or not. They measure them, make them run around in their underwear for a few days without pads and a helmet, give them written tests, etc. It's beyond stupid.

People can hate on Caleb Williams all they want, but he's doing the right thing. I thought he answered their stupid questions well and there is no need for him to run around and do obstacle courses in front of everyone when it's likely he's going to be picked by the team that has the first overall pick.

It just seems like a lot of cake and watermelon. Very stupid.

The dude on X who claims to be a former NFL scout and went viral for saying CW is overrated claims that Spencer Rattler is QB1...

Jordan Reid from the ESPN.com has posted an Insider exclusive two round draft post NFL combine and he is definitely a real person that is not named Mel Kiper.

Release the mockage!

7. Tennessee Titans

Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame

Over the past two seasons, the Titans' left tackle spot has been a revolving door, and the team took 64 sacks last season (tied for fourth-most). The 6-9, 321-pound Alt could solve the problem. He's equally as good as a run blocker as he is in pass protection, with great power and above-average movement skills. Alt keeps getting better, too, as he only has three full seasons at the position after converting from tight end. Teaming him up with guard Peter Skoronski would give the Titans a formidable left side of the offensive line.

61. Detroit Lions

Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame

Hart is another prospect that will probably hear his name called earlier than most anticipate. Lions GM Brad Holmes has completely retooled the roster, but the secondary still sticks out as needing a lot of help. Detroit gave up 7.8 yards per pass attempt last season, 31st in the NFL. Hart is a versatile corner who can play in a variety of coverages.

Hart going through the Combine and seeing his stock go up is not much of a surprise to any ND fans, is it?
I was a little worried about the injury history, but you're right, "Big Game" Cam was always going to impress the scouts.

He had a good combine. His size and athleticism are definitely big draws, but I still kind of think he’ll be an early day 3 pick because of his injury history. Hopefully, it’s not a concern though and he goes day 2.

I kind of think he’ll be in a similar circumstance as a guy like Cory Trice last year - similar size and athleticism. Some analysts loved Cory Trice, but he fell to the 7th round because of injury history. He ended up blowing out his knee in training camp with Pittsburgh. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hart fall to early day 3 for similar fear about injury history - hope not though.
