2024 ND Projected Depth Chart

As the pieces are coming together, I thought I'd take a shot at the ND Depth Chart for 2024. It's always fun to look towards next year at this point of the season. I'm not sure where some of the freshmen project, but I added them. I intend to update if/when we get more transfers.

Kiser will be a starter.

A starting linebacker core of a true freshman, 2 sophomores with virtually no snaps, and a junior who's struggled with assignments sounds like a disaster.

I wonder if they don’t have either Oben or Traore play Vyper in passing situations, with the other (or Ford) at SDE. Botelho is fine against the run but doesn’t seem to bring much as a pass rusher.

Also, no, KVA is not starting over Kiser.

Love was who I meant for number one which is why I repeated Price twice.

- I'd flip Love and Price, but both will play a lot.
- I think Thomas will start somewhere, or best regularly rotated in at all three spots.
- Don't see Bauman playing over Flanagan
- I think Wagner and Jagusah is your best bet at tackle, but I'd flip them. I don't think there's a tackle worth taking in the portal right now.
- Schrauth is starting for sure next year. My guess is Coogan and Spindler will duke it out for the other guard spot.
- I don't see KVA starting over Kiser. He wouldn't come back to back up a freshman.
- I think KVA ends up getting some special packages at Will, similar to how Marist and Sneed were used.
- I think ND needs another safety, at the very least, to rotate and preferably to start next to Watts, should he return.
