Only thing that saved us that year was Alt and Fischer becoming dudes mid season. But yes the start of that year was painful to watch

Would guys quit ruining the end of the worlder’s argument. Didn’t you hear it’s all over because Jagusah is out. We shouldn’t even play the season just forfeit all the games now. Seriously though there is so much good competition at the Tackle position one should be able to step up and be solid if not great.

2021 was a problem on 2 fronts: 1. Jeff Quinn and 2. Fisher went down in the middle of the first game. OL takes time to gel and that’s why fall camp is always so important for it. It’s also why we saw the 2021 OL make a huge step after the bye.
The only silver lining here is that it happened in the 3rd practice so there’s time to recoup and start over. The talent is on the roster.

Um go read the Jagusah thead and even this one there are plenty that were acting like that drama slut. Maybe if you bitches didn’t act like the world was ending every time something negative happens I would stop making fun of you chicken littles.

Eh, questionable. Tackle certainly is worse than we've had with Alt and Fisher.
But guard to guard, this is easily the best interior we've had in years. Correll and Lugg wouldn't start on this unit, and while Patterson was good, moving him from center to guard didn't do him any favors.

But they moved him to guard this fall. Moved Knapp to LT.
Not sure what to make of all that, but we'll know soon who they're trying at LT with Jagusah out.
Per II, they think they moved him to guard in an attempt to get the best 5 OL on the field. Absher seems next in line to be “great”.

It really is insane how bad our luck has been the past 4 weeks between the horrid recruiting news and injury reports.

I just see it as all teams will go through these periods and discussing alternatives and questioning procedures seems logical. Crying about coaches should be let go or acting like the whole team is imploding is just annoying and I don’t get why one would even follow the team if all they are getting is misery from it. There are certain posters that all they do is come here when bad stuff happens to bitch and moan and add absolutely no positivity. It’s just all the doom and gloom gets to me. The fall practice reports have been pretty positive about the WR, DL, LBs, and CBs. The thing with the OL is we really don’t know how good they are yet because we don’t know if our DL is that elite or our OL is that bad, but either way there is talent on the OL I don’t care what stars they were. ND creates NFL OL talent out of low 4 and 3 stars all the time. Rudolph has proven he is a good coach. We will find 5 that can be a good group.
