Worst part is it highlighted the 4.2ppg because it was her best stat. On less than 35% from the floor - at 6'4"

On paper, Kansas State finished fourth in the Big 12. They were a #5 seed in the tournament. Made it to the sweet sixteen where they lost to USC without Juju.

She seems more of the mold of a Maddy Westbeld than a Kylee Watson. Numbers aren't the best right now. We'll see if she develops into anything. But could certainly be an intriguing stretch 4 forward.

Do we have time to develop the upside? lol
I think the question isn't whether it needs to be developed so much as was she being poorly utilized? I don't watch KSU women's basketball, let alone U20 international, so your guess on that is as good as mine.

I certainly hope there’s another big that we’re getting that will make Sanchez a off the bench player

I'm hoping we go after the Duke guard who is in the portal. She was a key scorer and hopefully academics wouldn't be an issue for transferring.

They've been in contact with her, a long with multiple other annual top 10 caliber programs.

Still such an interesting collapse in every way, shape and form. At this point you have to wonder...ND not playing the NIL well enough? Ivey exposed? People don't want to play with Hannah? Combination of all 3? Who knows, they could pull some rabbits out of a hat, but it's not looking good.

Eric Hansen says two visits set up for next week and a third in the works. Here's hoping those are the starters De Jesus, Sanchez and Cowles are nice players for 6-8 in the rotation.

Complain all you want, but at this point we still need a literal roster.

Best case scenario is to put a complimentary team around Hannah. Let it be her show, averaging close to 30ppg and hopefully secure a top 8 seed in the tourney.

The wow factor from Hannah’s stats, might be able to garner attention from recruits, which is something Ivey has yet to be able to do.

I wonder if there are any HS juniors we can convince to reclassify with the promise of early PT. We just saw football go after a reclassified guy, so maybe admissions is more open to it now.

This narrative that Ivey can’t recruit needs to stop. It’s simply not true.
2020 class had four five stars.
2021 class had two five star recruits and transfer in Maya Dodson who had a great year with us.
2022 class she brought in one four star and three transfers- Watson, Jenna Brown and Lauren Ebo.
2023 class she brought in three five star players and two transfers.
And then the last two classes only one player each a five star.
That’s 11 five star players in six classes plus 9 transfers.

I’m not sure what happened the last two classes. Maybe a lack of effort. Who knows. But obviously what happened in the last year is the exception not the norm. Everyone just calm down and let’s see what happens.

I mean she did nothing this year when she shoulda brought in 4-5 girls in this class

For sure. The recruiting results were not what was needed. But a narrative has formed with some posters that she hasn’t been a good recruiter her entire tenure. Which is false. And consequently it’s some posters who were singing her praises when she got Olivia and Sonia. And now she’s the worst. Too much emotions going on. There’s still a lot of work to be done to save the roster. And it could be a rough year on the court. But we’ll see what happens.

Fair. Recruiting for the 2025 class was poor. It’s not necessarily an indicator that Ivey is a poor recruiter or the worst ND has ever seen. The results before this class would say she is not the worst ever at this university.

Nice to see some movement, but I can't "relax" as hard as I try.

We still lack shooters. Hannah will score. What will we do when she faces a virtual box-and-one?

None of our retainees are scorers; none of our additions are either. The new size MIGHT be OK.

Still this looks like team with one starter, one maybe starter (Cass Prosper), and a group of marginal starters who definitely wouldn't start on a contending team. (at least as far as what has been shown so far.)

Read an article that said Milaysia from South Carolina has a final two of LSU and ND. She’s not the best shooter but she can score getting to the rim. Again we’ll see though.

Sure, but this could be the worst ND women’s rosters in a very long time. That’sa symptom of what problem?

Hopefully not so bad, but that total makeover team did end up with five players who averaged more than 10ppg. If it had a true point guard to more efficiently distribute, maybe we would have had a winning record. (I really admire Muffet for staying the extra year so as not to stick Ivey with what she knew was the empty cupboard.)

A year of poor recruiting. And I highly doubt this team will be as bad as it was in 19-20.

Yeah Muffet on the way out probably had something to do with it. This is year 5? I’m hoping the Muffet luster isn’t wearing off.

Someone asked Eric Hansen about Fulwiley and his response was “I don’t see that happening”
Maybe we’ll be surprised.

He also mentioned this:
“Our news-gathering partners at WSBT-TV are expecting another addition soon. ND has two guards set to visit this week in USC freshman Kayleigh Heckel and Vanderbilt junior Iyana Moore. Of those two and the three who signed, Heckel is the only one that has multiple years of eligibility. The imminent addition may have two years. There's a third prospect who might visit this week as well, but it's not been finalized.”
