I ain't afraid or intimidated by a damn tree nut. Neither are the Irish.
ND 38
OSU 30
ND 38
OSU 30
That’s for teams that don’t have good O-lines.Not really. The game has largely changed. Many games are glorified 7 vs 7.
The only times I've ever felt dumb for being excited leading up to a big ND game were the 2018 CFP game and the ACCCG. I really believed in that 2018 team, and in 2020 I didn't necessarily expect a win but I expected another game where ND showed up at the very least.See? I disagree with this. It doesn't feel anything like the other crushing losses.
I never saw em coming. Miami? Boy I thought we'd shit kick em. Marshall? Stanford? All the other what the hell soul crushing loss in the past 15 years? Never saw them coming.
Be honest with yourself... you saw every playoff appearance coming. You saw Clemson II coming. You saw every game we were moderate to big dogs as losses.
I have real hope for this one. I care way too much about this shit. It's really dumb how much a college team consumes me.
This one will hurt bad if they get boat raced.
2017 Miami for me. I thought they were trash and ND would dominate. The only times I've ever felt dumb for being excited leading up to a big ND game were the 2018 CFP game and the ACCCG. That game was a disaster for sure but I kinda figured that Wimbush's passing would lose us a game eventually..... certainly wasn't expecting to lose 43-8 after about 7 weeks of truly dominant football though.2017 Miami for me. I thought they were trash and ND would dominate.

We kept it closer than Bammer did in 2018…The only times I've ever felt dumb for being excited leading up to a big ND game were the 2018 CFP game and the ACCCG. And then the rain started falling in NoVa. Thanks.... Not.Felt good about this game... but then I see too much hope / optimism which means its time for a kick in the nuts. OSU by 7.
Yea, I’m starting to not like that ND is becoming the trendy pick. I want an overconfident OSU. Not one playing against the world.Felt good about this game... but then I see too much hope / optimism which means its time for a kick in the nuts. OSU by 7.

They usually save it for the game threads.Where did all the chicken littles come from!?
85% of the predictions are for ND to win so there really aren't that many they just post more.Where did all the chicken littles come from!?
Usually when we win one of these big games it’s “ND doesn’t stand a chance” and then we just play physical, get some chunk plays, and get some turnovers and ride that to a W.I am the biggest doofiest
This is how I feel.
Too much ND love. We're in trouble.
I'm sorry everyone. Brace for impact.
ND’s run game worries me too. I don’t want to see Estime tap dancing in the backfield like the start of the NcSt game. Got tripped up before he got going. Hoping the backs are aggressive and the young speedsters can get a few big gains.Usually when we win one of these big games it’s “ND doesn’t stand a chance” and then we just play physical, get some chunk plays, and get some turnovers and ride that to a W.
I still remember being a 2 TD dog to Oklahoma in 2012 and just manhandling them at the LOS for 4 quarters.
But this game there are wayyyyy too many people taking the line of ND “should” win. Which I feel like is a mistake and people forget that last year Ohio State was a blown call away from beating Georgia. No CJ Stroud, etc. but their O and D have some dogs on them. In particular, I think we will find it difficult to run on their front 7.
That was the old ND. The one that had to be the underdogs. This is MFs ND, one that expects to win and dominate. We haven't this attitude and QB advantage for a long time. Believe.Usually when we win one of these big games it’s “ND doesn’t stand a chance” and then we just play physical, get some chunk plays, and get some turnovers and ride that to a W.

I hear you on this. I think a lot of it goes back to the fanbase having been burned so many times over the past 30 years. Now we see we have a legit QB and a strong secondary, and most everything else looks solid. So, we have hope of finally being a top 3 team again.Usually when we win one of these big games it’s “ND doesn’t stand a chance” and then we just play physical, get some chunk plays, and get some turnovers and ride that to a W.

That’s fair. ND fans usually go into these games thinking “just compete & don’t get embarrassed” but most of the fans have moved past that with confidence in a win. OSU is the more talented roster but that doesn’t always predict the winner as we all know.Usually when we win one of these big games it’s “ND doesn’t stand a chance” and then we just play physical, get some chunk plays, and get some turnovers and ride that to a W.
