This may be the most poorly coached Clemson team I've seen in a while.

It's just astonishing how undisciplined and inept they look. Klubnik looks awful throwing it more than 5 yards downfield, but his OL is getting him killed out there and his receivers have hands of stone. Shipley is literally all they have.

Defense also looks inconsistent and not physical at all. Sure, they've got some playmakers up front, but overall, it's a lot like last year, where they disappear when you pop them in the mouth. Duke's offense isn't even good, but they are physically beating them up.
I still feel good about nd against duke because Duke’s offense does not look good. You’ll need a spy on Leonard but we’ve got the dudes for that

I still have lots of respect for Dabo. Not many head coaches would wait around to shake hands with the other coach while fans storm the field. He did it with Marcus last year, and just now with Elko.

He might be foolish, but also gotta respect his stance regarding transfers.

Good for Duke and I'm happy for Elko but let's not get it twisted, Duke looked bad too.

I was thinking the exact same thing, he’s a gracious winner and gracious loser.

After he shook Elko's hand he was standing around and I read his lips saying "Where's the quarterback?" I agree he seems like a good guy despite being corny.

He wants to break the ice and ask if he wants to transfer to Clemson next year.

I realize San Jose State sucks, but DJU looked like a passable QB yesterday. Klubnik looks mediocre. Maybe, like Jimbo, Dabo isn't the genius we were led to believe.
Clemson isn’t injecting as much steroids these days

I'm seriously a little worried that NC State might break a lot of dude's spirit on this board.

Not that I think we'll lose, I dont... We might jail sex em. But if it's close and turns into a fight... there's some folks here that might think some desperate thoughts.
You must be new here. We have cliff jumpers at the first sign of adversity aka a 3rd and 3.

That was the plan, supposedly, for a while. Now, I'm not so sure. Some of the luster has faded from Dabo and he doesn't seem quite the perfect successor these days.

Duke is going to be a solid team this year and their defense is gonna cause problems. Our OL better bring their lunch pales against them. Clemson I think is still a top 20 team, Duke may be a top 12 team.

Not going 0/3 near the goal line will be a good start

With Hartman I think we will be fine he has been perfect against the Blitz so far, if teams want to Blitz he will dink and donk it all day to the running backs and get them in space.

I like Dabo a lot. I think Mike Frank at ISD hates him and I never understood why.

maybe I’m the fool, but I refuse to get nervous about Duke football, ever. Clemson OL / ground attack sucks, we can bully people and we will pound Duke. If Hartman stays healthy the ACC win streak is looking good!

Also Klubnick looked like a ‘22 ND QB out there, some flashes but a lot of hapless throws and just not a dude.

I don't know if I agree with that, that Duke looked "bad". They looked like a combination of "it's week 1 so more than enough to work on" and "our athletes are smaller and not as talented as Clemson", but they played really hard, tackled decently, and looked like they were being coached well. They took advantage of big opportunities when it came their way and made plays on special teams, that muffed punt aside.

They were playing tight coverage on Clemson's WR who couldn't get an ounce of separation. There was so little YAC across the board for Clemson. Shipley had over 100 yards, but he basically was the only person doing anything on Clemson. The Duke offense moved the ball okay enough, mostly on Leonard's scrambling abilities because he wasn't that accurate passing, but they managed to do enough to win it.

Clemson could have won this game, but it was a comedy of errors for them where any time they saw success, they'd immediately follow it up with something bad, like fumbles on the goal line or blocked FGs. Duke looked like a solid 9 win team this year to me.

Same shit my 12 year old does
LOL. Then comes winter and they're wearing shorts with flip flops.

It was 100 degrees yesterday and I saw a kid in a hoodie yesterday at 2 PM. He couldn't have been more than 15 years of age.

Perplexing.

I think for Elko, it's the "big guys look better in hoodies" thing.

You're willing to sweat it out in a hoodie at temperatures 10 degrees higher than you should, because the man boobs and the gut don't look as bad.

Hoodie weather is big man weather... big dudes love to get an early start on hoodie season.
