I gotcha. Updated Weights/Heights for the roster. Notable movers- Ford down to 275
Mills up to 306
Mukam 280
Traore (only) 237
Wagner 288
Botelho 265
Estime 233
Otting is real light at 265. Terek and Pendleton are big, Jagusah, Absher, and Flanagan are HUGE!
LB's got bigger!
I like most of that.

I think Ford was getting too big too fast. We saw Khalid Kareem kind of go through that and come back better.

I actually like Traore at 237. I want him lean and on the edge. He’ll be needed there. He’ll be 245+ by next Fall Camp.

Mukam at 280 seems fake but that’s notable for future prospects of the interior.

Vernon at 6’4 7/8, 259 seems to officially settle where they will start. Vernon at Big End and Mukam at 3T. Fine by me.

Jagusah is 6’7 1/4, 330? I had no idea he was going to be a member of the 6’7+ club. Rare group.

Sneed at 222. Wu left ND at 215 and is 221 in the NFL now.

Ausberry quickly to 224. Those squats appear to be working ;)

Everyone’s favorite PWO, Luke Talich, officially listed at 6’3 5/8, 198 and he runs his 100M’s in the 10.7. Interest fully peaked.

Negatives:

I didn’t realize Micah Bell was so short. 5’9 1/2 will be hard to overcome for a full time CB. Seems like a lock for future Nickel CB.

As noted above Otting is quite small. Makes Ashton Craig look like a monstar.

Not italics! While my post is a bit clickbaity, I take it as good news that Angeli is progressing and at least capable in small samples.
I couldn't agree more, I think that bodes well for the QB room in 2024 if Angeli is standing out for sure. Curious to see how Minchey progresses, too.

Two thoughts. Great news if true. Backup QB scares the crap out if me. Hartman being ready doesn't. Secondly, I don't believe a stinking thing from the lying mouths of On3.
On3 🤮🤮🤮

That’s bc Singer has a hard on for Angeli

Also, didn’t On3 also say Buchner was the far better QB all spring? How’d that turn out?

Stuckey said that Tyree was fairly natural at WR. I felt by the end of Spring Tyree it was pretty apparent to be the case.

Jag was injured right? He wrestled at 285 but perhaps he didn’t have to cut weight his senior year? If he did wrestle his senior year, he stacked on 45 lbs in 4 months. That would be hard to do even for a grizzly bear.

Otting at 6-3 1/8 264 so he lacks both height and weight. Hard to see him carrying 310 at that height but time will tell. Heisand loved him so I wouldn't be surprised if he's eventually a good player.

The quote came from Horka, not Singer.
Horka is definitely the one that was elevating Buchner over Hartman all spring. Maybe he was right, but it certainly didn’t play out well. IDK if Hartman is just not interested in a practice competition, likes to try new things and make mistakes in practice, or if he’s just a Gameday guy.

I haven't heard anyone saying that Hartman practices poorly. I'm not taking Angeli as having a good day as Hartman had a bad one...Sampson tweeted out that Hartman was one of his standouts today (he had no mention of Angeli, FWIW).

Reports made it sound like Buchner was a practice God, but it just never really translated consistently on the field. Seems like he tends to press when the lights are shining, such as the Spring Game.

Joe Alt recently did a joint interview with Hartman, and Alt was raving about Hartman's practice habits. Said the dude never leaves the building.

who the hell was on here saying he could eventually move inside.
At the risk of being that guy, I brought this up a long time ago when he first visited campus. He was much longer and lean than I think folks expected.

Now, I don’t think he’ll stay at Vyper, long term. But it seems like he’s going to be an “edge” player regardless.

I also think that Buchner‘s athletic ability and physical gifts would have allowed him to stand out in a practice setting as compared to Hartman. However, after you factor in real game experience, Hartman surpasses Buchner when it counts. Obviously, Buchner may end up being the player that many thought he could be but the jury is still out.
